Okay, sorry for the double post, but there is one thing I need to remind you.

Hamza is with the rats. All the other folks are up, at the edge of the ravine, by the rope that leads down. You need to use a movement action to go down below if you wanna strike with your melee weapons. Or you can be up and use distance attacks. Moving down below, then moving some, then attacking in one round is impossible, I'm afraid.

How long is the rope / how deep is the ravine?

We should have rolled out at least another rope, then, but that's the benefit of hindsight, especially in theater of the mind.

The current setup is a good way to get killed (or rendered unconscious) one by one as we get down the rope.

You know, you always can attack from above with ranged attacks/spells. Plus if you will get down, there's a possibility that the rats will attack more than one person at the time ;-) And they do not have that high AC and HP... ;-)

In fact, I think they have attacked so successfully because of lucky rolls...? ;-)

You didn't answer my question about depth, but that's fine. You did say a move action was enough to get down.

I'm editing my post to have her use Leaping Dragon to jump as a swift action after she goes down the rope; hopefully that's enough to position her as expected.

PS: she doesn't have a ranged weapon! Money is tough at level 1.

Toughen, but I don't know how they got it as Vitalist; I'm no expert with that class.

Also, it's possible Shyra puts out too much damage for level 1. If needed I can "nerf" her, choosing a different stance notably.

From what I understand, you're up top overlooking the action, so you should be able to see.
