[3.0] Drow Mage

Hello everyone,

I need to create a character for a Drow campaign using the 3.0 rules. The allowed manuals are the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Underdark, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, Magic of Faerûn, Player's Guide to Faerûn, and Underdark. I would like to make a wizard, but honestly, I don't remember much about the 3.0 rules. The character should start at 7th level. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Incantatrix would be the most powerful option. Shadow Crafter might be interesting. Any full casting PrC should be workable.

Do you want to play a specialist or generalist? If a specialist, what school? You can go in a lot of directions with a wizard and a lot of them are strong.

There are a few handbooks for wizards if you just want some general tips on what's good and what's not. Check here under Base Classes --> Arcane Spellcasters --> Wizard for a list. Some might be dead links at this point, though.
