Kelborn and Lithana

The shroud-wrapped kobold doesn't make any effort to move, but the gray elf hops up immediately once Sharra warns everyone. She draws both blades and readies herself for the creature's appearance.

Kelborn does nothing. Simple enough.

Lithana moves to flank with Naomi and readies an action to attack it as soon as the demon/devil/thing appears. Otherwise she drops into her Island of Blades stance.

Mahogany takes a worried step back as the rough looking fellow with the sword leaps up and begins to threaten. He gives the man an appraising look before backing away from the flows of frightened drinkers.

A nine foot tall fiend appears out of thin air in front of Naomi, setting confused patrons into a panic as they all rush to get out. The creature appears as a giant snake with green, scaly coils from the waist down, and as a chain-shrouded female humanoid above the waist. She has six arms, all of which wield hellishly animate loops of barbed chain. The cruelly barbed chains also serve as her armor and clothing. It appears as though a shroud of unholy darkness is surrounding her as she blinks in and out of reality.

As soon as she sees that the creature appearing is, as she reasoned, no peaceful traveller, she acts. She times her blinking to the fiend's (her spell rendering her capable of striking it on either the material or ethereal plane), and her familiar peeks out of her pocket. Two knives flash from her cloud, trailing mist and aimed for the demon's face; then Sharra speaks a word, intones a short phrase, and levels a hand--and spreads draconic wings, a single flap sending her up. She fades from sight as she goes, hovering unseen 25 feet over the demon's head.

Spellcraft autosucceeds on identifying the blink spell.
Sharra's and the familiar's Cloud of Knives spells hit touch ACs of 45 and 42 respectively, doing 38 and 30 damage respectively, beating DR/magic (only).
Sharra then casts Assay Resistance as a swift action (sacrificing Ray of Dizziness), and arcane-reached Irresistible Dance as a standard action. Forgot to roll a ranged touch attack for the Dance, so it's (1d20+19)[35], and she beats SR 36. Duration on the spell is 2 rounds. Sharra's Hide check is 60.

The first of the two knives hit the fiend, with the second one simply glancing off. Then, as Sharra's spell hits it, you all view the odd sight of a large, six-armed snake dancing the rounds away.

Oh yeah, I just noticed this, but how did you get those sneak attacks? There's not exactly anyplace to hide on the ceiling of a tavern.

Aedras watches the fiend slide in it's slithery dance, then glances up only to find that the gnome has dissapeared once again, but what he does see is a candle-laden circular weapon. He yells out "Hey Ironbox, watch this for me" as he tosses his wand at Artemus, then clasps his sword between his teeth. He leaps into the air, spinning backwards, closing in, and grabbing hold of the chandellier above the Fiend's head. Using his momentum to swing up onto the metal ring, he clasps his sword in his hand once more "HEADS UP", he shouts, and in one deft stroke, slices the lights from the roof and sends them crashing down. He quickly rolls onto the floor and springs up with his hands, landing back on his feet next to the fiend, brandishing his weapon.

Caught in the throes of dancing, the fiend is unable to move away as 150 pounds of metal and wax comes crashing into it. Unfortunately for the invisible Sharra, she also gets hit, knocking her into the fiend, and depositing her on the floor right next to it.

Mahogany stumbles back against the wall as the hideous creature suddenly appears.

"By my boots and bladder!" he breathes in excitement. He then looks on with a look of astonishment that is both confused and amused as the newcomer begins to dance sinuously.

"Watch out there...!" he begins to call belatedly when the chandelier comes crashing down.

The elderly man glances about at those that have begun to fight the creature and then back to the creature itself. His eyes then widen with an expression of disgust.

The kobold stands and moves over to a table farther away from the fighting. He sits and waits for the fiend that everyone recklessly swarmed to go down under their onslaught. Strange that near total strangers would attack a creature that had done nothing other than teleport in, like that gnome did before..

Lithana

The elf dances about the fiend, not as literally as the fiend of course. Her twin elven lightblades lash out at it's tough hide.

He stood strong and tall, and suddenly unleashed his suppressed energy in a glorious flash of blue light. From him, a massive flowing cloak of blue fire erupts, a similar fire burns on all the blades of his intricate spear and around his body is the piercing blue outline of a kolyarut, it's circular eyes burning with blue fire.
"Creature of anarchy and wickedness! YOU SHALL DIE!"
Artemus shoved his spear forward into the torso of the beast, unleashing the infinite power of structure and law of Mechanus into the very essence of the creature.
