Sincerely, although your story looks awesome on paper, I find that during this coming, you have done a rather poor job at telling it. It all looks so jumbled, full of inexplicable randomness that doesn't have anything to do with it. The story looks more like an Excuse Plot for guys to kill each other while random events happen all around.
Please don't be angry at me.
No offense intended, it's just some honest criticism. I find that your story is good, and it saddens me that so much potential is left untapped.

Nothing changed at all actually. The only thing that did change was Powers is more tolerant of Xeno's presence. In case you forgot, Powers killed Xeno.

If he's more tolerant, why are they fighting?

I've been feeling the same way a bit lately, if this was a problem before, the only thing i'd be mad about is that you didn't tell me sooner if it was a problem before.
I think what the problem is that I might be trying a bit too hard to be funny, as the best material I make up usually just comes to me when i'm making a serious comic.
Prehaps I can take suggestions on what should I do, like what to put more emphasis on? Storytelling? Minor Characters?

I have found that, for me anyway, a plot is a lot more easier to follow when you repeat what the goal at hand is, and don't leave it t the audience to dig through to find out.

Yeah, Q's catching a lot of flack for his humorous webcomic having a bit of drama, then going for a humorous, silly ending. I thought it fit, personally.

It's better.

Just remember, although it may sound cheesy, just having a character saying something like "this will REALLY help us defeat the bad guy now!" will really help us thick-heads know what the heroes are trying to accomplish.

I don't think you have to go back and alter every single comic you've made to make it easier for us. Just continue with some clarity.

Also, character motivation. Okay, maybe Powers and Xeno are only fighting because they don't like each other, but if you need to explain that outside that comic something has gone wrong. Like I said before, in the future a simple "I'm going to kill you because you insulted my wife!" would be very helpful to us.

I hear that they ran out of 5.56 and had to substitute it with .22LR .

It might have something to do with the AC though. (Or they roll really bad and are incapable of getting nat 20s, or they are minions and thus are meant to be really bad at killing the main heroes). Question is how are they not killing their own teammates?

Well for Kayl, thy draconic hide art quite bulletproof, Marnia is scaly and uses +7 plate armor, and we can only assume Torn's armor is amazing, and/or has miscellaneous AC boosting magic items.

And this is an army of 1st level experts, I doubt they're that good with weapons.

And if you look in the 3rd-to-last panel, there is an instance of friendly fire, the last 2 panels has the victim fallen over dead.

Comic 262 is up. Working more on the Rand vs Randomperson fight.

And Memn, I doubt you wanna pick a fight with the gold-texty guy whos drawn in madness style.

I see nothing really wrong with it, I guess. It moves the plot. The arcane incarnation just seemed to come outta nowhere, there. I don't remember him.

And if you link a comic 40 or so comics back that shows us when he was introduced, I'm going to flip. You have to remind us. Our memories are not so good.

Although if the king didn't know who he was, it may have been difficult. You could've had one of the soilder's talking to the AI and remind us who he is, though.

I have to say I like the writing in this comic. This is the first comic in a long while I knew EXACTLY what was going on. Good work.
