Re: The Endless Castle of Stereotypes
((I agree))
Initiatives:
Jazz 25
Sul and Bogrot 20
Antar 19
Dak'kon 18
Unknown Monster
Braxus
A magic missile appears from nowhere smashing into the monsters body. He almost misses a step but seems only a little hurt by it. Your halfling also advances.
The skilled marksman Sul fires two arrows from his devastating bow and now the monster definitely staggers when the first arrow hits. The staggering causes the second arrow to miss its mark my millimeters.
Bogrot moves closer but takes no action.
Antar charges in whipping his chain striking him squarely across the jaw dislocating it.
Dak'kon moves closer to the melee activating a protective psionic barrier around himself.
The monster closes on Antar and places his burning hand on your chest. While you think it is going to be hot it is actually one of the coldest things you have ever felt. It is so cold in actually disintegrates a small piece of your flesh off. (7 cold damage + 1 Charisma Damage.) You see his dislocated jaw actually pop back in.
Braxus charges in after Antar and attacks with his claw (you only get one attack on a charge plus the second wouldn't have hit anyway.) You leave deep scars into its chest but you feel the cold fire bite at you as you slash him. (3 cold damage) He also puts his hand on you as well and while it wasn't that painful you are already cold and it freezes a large chunk of flesh right off your chest. (4 cold damage + 6 charisma damage) The arrow pops out of his flesh and while it is not healed it does look better.I see a blue smurf and I want him painted black

Re: The Endless Castle of Stereotypes
Jazz concentrates on her illusion and makes the halfling run around behind the creature to flank him as she tries to gauge whether or not her decoy is effective.
SpoilerAgain, Permanent Image, Will disbelief DC 23... Since the spell has the "figment" subschool, I don't think undead are immune to it. (Just in case the monster is undead)Last edited by Tortoise262; 2008-01-24 at 05:25 PM.

Re: The Endless Castle of Stereotypes
((It appears we have lost Bogrot))
It doesn't ignore the thing as a matter of fact when it passes it reaches for it to drain it like it drained the others but its hand passes right through...now its ignoring it.
Sul knocks two arrows burying one in its chest and the other in the creatures flaming face. The arrow hits it between the eyes pinning it to the door it was pounding on.
((as to your question Jael, no you would not get an attack of opportunity because the creature was already in your threat range when it advanced on you. It didn't get one against you since you didn't enter his threat range to attack him but you don't get one either.))I see a blue smurf and I want him painted black

Your search even though it was a lousy search is still good enough to realize that he has NO gear on him he isn't even wearing clothes. As for your listen check you hear a voice calling through the door speaking in a language you don't understand.

Bogrot
Thoroughly unimpressed with the results of his last attempt at door-opening, he strides miniature strides over to the door and pushes it open. "Helloooooo? Everybody out, last call. Don't make us come in there!" As he looks at the scene on the other side of the door, he says sideways to his companions, "Say, does anyone speak Grumble?"
