Cerus's arrow hits another orc, who gurgles and collapses. His friends retaliate with projectiles, before Cerus swoops out of range.

Edit:
Strong Arm rushes to the gap in the wall(the wall between tower 2 and tower 3), Nasim close behind. The wall is dilapidated, bricks poking out and missing. Pulling himself up, Strong Arm gets his first view of the inside of the courtyard. To his left, there's a stable with a flat, wide roof. The stable is directly behind the second tower. The only way into or out of the fortress is a portcullis in the third tower, to his right. Directly across from him are two barracks, built into the curtain wall. In the middle of the courtyard is a well, with a wolf chained to it via a winch. Strong Arm is just in time to see a dozen lightly armed orcs rush into the third tower, entering a tunnel at the base. Nasim spots the first of these coming out of the tower on your side of the wall. They spot you with a roar. The orcs aren't that heavily armed, but they do have armor and swords, and a few have javelins.

"About 5 minutes, and I need relatively flat surfaces to aim at, plus 30 seconds or so to create each hole. The other method for combat use has a casting time of about 6 seconds, but requires me to concentrate on both while they're is open, so I can't use it to travel myself.

SpoilerUltra-quick, ultra dirty map. Tactical purposes only, and not up to my usual "quality". they aren't great at the best of times, but I literally drew this one in 2 minutes. Orcs are black with green outlines. Hopefully this clarifies where everything is.
