"And... hmmm, I believe there were some scuffles between necromancers and... the church? A while back. Yes, that was it. Not sure who's winning. Why, did you stop by it?"

"Well, some necromancers do have uses for bodies, and the inquisition wouldn't much like them doing that. I imagine that was it. There's probably still some magic left over from whichever group won."

"M'lord, do you recall the last thing you said to us when you saw us?" Ozzariam asks Necrom.

"Because something about what you said has me confused and...concerned."

Necrom returns to raising an eyebrow and Sir Noneck of Noneckington.
"I do happen to recall actually. It was only three days ago."
He put more stress then usual on the words 'three days', as though to inform you that around this town, time was nolonger flowing naturally.

She sort of wished that talking to Necrom wasn't an exercise in swimming an ocean of smarm and terror mixed with disgust; Clearly the lich knew a lot of really good secrets. With someone that like as a friend or patron, a person could really count themselves as powerful.
Only try and wrap someone around your finger if you don't think they'd bite it off.
Or if you never actually want them to ever touch you again? Yeah, don't do it then, either.
Settling for something a little more indirect, Gloria casually asks Elida,
"So, what do you think is worth having in the boneyard? Some kind of dead relic, I'd guess, or maybe a pair of fossilized dragon's balls."

Elida's mouth falls open a little at the last comment, and she stifles something that sounds like it would have been a giggle. "I don't really know what's there; I haven't been in there yet. Do you want to go and look?" she inquires, mouth still twitching upwards a bit with laughter.

"Actually, Gloria," the lumi interjected. "Lord Necrom isn't after something he is after someone. Who is it that you wish us to...retrieve?" he asks Necrom.

"And how long do you think it should take? Personally, I do not like the...feel...of this place. Anywhere that Mr. Pinchley dares not tread is somewhere to be quite wary of, I suspect."

The vampire drifted into the bar quietly, having sat around town for some time with nothing happening. He spotted the other two, but said nothing, taking a seat in the corner and doing naught else but listen to the conversation.

"Ugh, digging up graves? I put people in graves, not take them out."
Gloria looks a little put out at the prospect of lifting a shovel.
"Of course, I'm being naive, aren't I? It's probably the zombie dragon whose balls are petrified, and he's angry."

Elida looks perplexed, then suddenly comprehension seems to dawn, and she looks instantly sympathetic. "Oh—I'm sorry... You don't have to dig the grave yourself, you know. I'm sure you could ask some of the people around here to help, and there's probably somebody who can give a service if you ask him to... Did you know them well?"

Necrom ignores the covnersation between Elida and gloria.
"The time it takes really depends on your abilities to negotiate. The, person whom I need you to speak with and retrieve our Mr. Body from, has very good reason to not like me. But I'll explain that later."

She takes a moment to consider Elida
A little giggly, but at least she isn't dead or on fire, like half the people I know now.

Elida, attempting to be sensitive to the bereaved, politely awaits Gloria's answer, but it becomes clear there isn't going to be one. "Sorry," she says apologetically, without any discernable reason, and continues brightly, clapping her hands together, "Anyway! Who is it that you're going to go and see?"

Gloria lifts an eyebrow quizzically, and then just a glimmer of a smile appears at the corners of her mouth.
"I think we could all stand to hear that, yeah. I think it's time we moved on," she comments, looking around the vacant commons.

"Tell us the name of whom we should seek for you, Lord Necrom, and we will be on our way." Ozzariam says matter of factly. "The sooner we know, the sooner you get your prize and the sooner we can be rid of this place."

"There are, persons I need you to fetch for me. They are currently being heald by....well, by my wife in the graveyard.
If you can retrive them I'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction."

Gloria blows an errant lock of golden hair out of her eyes. Typical. No sooner do you start on finishing lackey tasks for one royal but the next one down the line starts bringing out his grocery list.
No matter what, she just couldn't bring herself to talk to this collection of drawn bones and skin and ice-heartedness.
C'mon you people...just ask him what we need to know so we can GET AWAY

"You're married? That's so nice!" Elida says, looking surprised. "All right—you need people to go into the, mm, graveyard? And bring somebody back?" She looks a little awkwardly at Gloria. "Do you, er, want help? As long as we're there, we might as well bury your friends..."

"The issue is, though, we don't know who this somebody is, as Lord Necrom hasn't given us a name or specifics about this 'somebody' he wants retrieved." Ozzariam says, looking at the lich, a bit of agitation showing through in his voice. The town made him nervous, on edge.

"Well, it will be the only living persons in the graveyard. It's not like there's too many their with their souls still intact."

"Huh. Well, that does make sense. Should we go?" Elida asks, half-rising and looking around.

Gloria stands resolutely, but uncharacteristically silent. She opens her palm and a silver ball enshrouds her from head to toe in shining liquid silver. She begins to walk towards the door...

As you all make your way to the cemetary you can't help but feel a nagging voice telling you not to go. Those of you not immune to fear need to give me will saves against fear. (And no, you cannot say that you're all clumped together like in Scooby-doo. There's no justification for it.)

The, seemingly, wrought iron gates stand 30 feet high, and are covered in chains easily identifiable as alchemical silver. The doors to the old church are boarded up with Darkwood, and covered in runes. To make an attempt to identify them you will need to provide a Knowledge(arcana) or Knowledge(religeon).

Otherwise, you spot no way to get into the graveyard other than by simply breaking in.

She looks a little curiously at her companions to see if they've picked up on the theme here. Maybe Eliza was too air-headed to get scared? The blood-sucker would feel right at home, and probably the lamp-head couldn't get scared.

Well, she hadn't taken the "kill them all" option off the table yet, but they'd have to be a long, long ways away from him before she could act on that.
With a more businesslike manner, the slender metallic woman paces to the gate. She recognized the particular tingle in her bones that said that cold iron was near. She was in two minds about the stuff; on the one hand, it shut Umbra up, but on the other it made your skin feel like pins and needles for as long as you touched it. And you could make shackles out of it.
Gloria grimaces and rubs her wrists at the memory.
