Roland, oblivious to everything, picks up his share of the bodies weight after pocketing the vials and proceeds to help carry it back to the inn.

Lauriel and the cleric follow you as you carry Aldra to the inn. The young elf child skips up to you as you go and says, Arwel says he's going to check on the girl. I have to go see big brother now. Bye!

Yaroc doesn't find anything new on the street when he looks, and the people he talks to don't give him much useful information. They claim the man descended on her like a shadowy vampire to drink from her and other such nonsense. He also talks to the same man as Arwel who insist to anyone who will listen that Aldra jumped out of a pool of green liquid that formed on the ground and onto the girl, cut her throat and then jumped off and melted into her shadow and disappeared.

((The ones that are carrying Aldra, you may decide where in the inn to take him, but you get there.))

Terry asks the other carrying him if they ought to rent a room for him, or use the one they were staying in.

Lauriel suggests, We should just take him up to the room we already have. It seems silly to pay for another room just for him.

That was a stupid question, why would I even ask that?" Terry will help take Aldra up to their room, and lay him in a bed.

Arwel thanks the innkeeper Your help is appreciated. Now that we're all here, I think we've got it.
As soon as the barkeep has gone Arwel turns to the unconscious man and starts padding him down. He compares the texture of what he sees with what is touched, as well as checking for hidden items.
I beg your pardon Lauriel but I feel this is safest. I've seen my sister use spells to change her appearance more than once. Arwel recalled the several times she had disguised herself as his mother and made him do the most ridiculous things. This may not be your husband.

Arwel doesn't find anything hidden on his body.

Lauriel looks to Arwel and it's obvious that she's near to bursting to tears. If I knew, I would tell you. She goes to the bed and sits down. She touches Aldra on the forehead and mutters a few indecipherable words, and he immediately wakes up. He sits up and takes a quick look around. When he notices Lauriel, he embraces her. Lauriel... Lauriel starts weeping. Oh by the gods... my love... I thought I'd lost you.

Terry's face breaks into a smile. At least the lovers are reunited. After allowing them to hold each other for a while, he asks "Aldra, may I ask you why people claim that you hurt that girl?"

I'd also like to get your views on your GLOWING RED EYES. Cause I may be just saying this, but red glowing eyed things usually aren't the kindest people around. Roland says as he watches them hug. Sorry to break up the tender moment but what if he goes psycho and cuts YOUR throat this time Lauriel?

Aldra and Lauriel's embrace ends and Aldra looks to the rest of the people in the room. He looks down and sighs. My eyes are a genetic condition I have learned to live with. He pauses. What girl? Why would I attack Lauriel?

Finding nothing more in the street Yaroc returns to the room. Seeing the stranger up and talking Yaroc stands blocking the door and keeps a hand on his ax. You have a lot to answer for, harming that girl, and I don't trust you as far as I could throw you. That goes to you as well Lauriel. Your still not telling us everything. You know more about whats going on here and I think by now we've earned to know the truth. All of it.

Aldra's countenance darkens. He says one word very forcefully and darkly, Drow. He pauses. They attacked me and took me prisoner. I don't remember much about the time I was their captive except that they drugged me often and once I tried to escape, but I failed. I don't know why they did it, other than that I'm an elf and they are drow. He looks over to the girl. I'm sorry about the girl. I was under their spell when I attacked her, and I don't know what you're talking about I haven't seen any of your party before.

Arwel is suspicious about some things in Aldra's story.

Things were not making sense, and for a moment he wished he could read people's thoughts. The little things were just not adding up and Shadowtongue was not sure what to believe anymore.

Lauriel, that is not the man who gave me your husbands things. He is lying to us about who he is. If you are who you say you are then you should be able to tell us when was the first time you met Lauriel and where it was.

Aldra begins rather slowly, eying Yaroc's hand going to his axe. It was many years ago when I traveled to the High Forest. I was a... He pauses, clearly trying to find the right word, guest of her father's. He moves to sit next to Lauriel and puts an arm around her shoulder. Lauriel was sitting beside her father when I met him. Lauriel smiles at him. It's true.
