David squeezes the trigger, but there is no explosive reaction; his gun has jammed. Daggit moves up beside him to face the enemy. The crazy man swings his arm wildly and catches Daggit in the face, creating a swolen, badass wound.

Running forward, the leader of the guards tries to find a good angle so he can shoot at the sickly figure without risking any friendly fire. The other guards follow behind him.
Granny stands ready with her sword.
Tal takes another shot, but his aim fails at the last second.

Daggit roars in pained anger (or angry pain, it's hard to tell). Daisy also screams, but in a not-so-angry mechanical chainsaw-y way. Daggit steps forward slightly and puts his full weight behind a two-arm chainsaw swing.

When the pink mist clears, the two halves of the crazy man can be seen on the ground in a giant pool of blood.

The head of the guards moves up closer.

"It's a good thing you're well-armed. What on Mars happened to this guy?"

Tal spat out blood that wasn't his. "Well, basically, Daggit sawed him in half."

He tried to wipe his face clean, and then realized his hands were covered in the dead mutant's blood as well. Gawd... Hope this stuff isn't infectious.

"Well, that much is obvious. But what happened to him before that? Was he poisoned? Or maybe..."

The lead guard steps back, and then pulls out his texting device and taps away for a moment.

"I think might be best if you all stay right where you are for the moment. At least until we can get some answers."

[jm_jazzman]

After a couple of minutes, the officer's eyes go wide.
He looks at Tal'vere, with fear on his face, and backs away.

"The... the quarantine didn't work. There was an outbreak in the Red Zone, that's why we turned back. But it's already made it here..."

He looks down at the remains of the crazy man

"... to him. They don't know how it's spreading, but it's happening fast. There's a mob of them like this in the Red Zone, the officers there have locked themselves up and are begging for help."

He pockets his texting device.

"If it's spread this far already, it'll be pretty much everywhere on the station. We have to get to a ship and get off this place."

In the distance, there a chorus of sickening screams echoes out of the darkness.

Fortinbras hurries over to the rest of the group. What is that unearthly noise? What is happening out there?

"The infection is spreading. They are all becoming like him"

The guard says, pointing to the bloody remains of the attacker.

Everyone feels a cool breeze across their face, which quickly grows into a strong, constant wind. For reasons unknown to the party, the station is rapidly losing its atmosphere to the emptiness of space. Within minutes, every person in the group loses consciousness due to lack of oxygen. Everyone dies. The End.
