Tal'vere and Daggit make their way down the hallway with Fortinbras following behind. To the left, the hallway continues for quite a distance. The door on the right opens easily, revealing a white-tiled room with large, shapeless bean-bag furniture pieces affixed to four of the corners, and a small kitchenette at the far end (complete with a mini fridge, zero-g coffee maker, and microwave oven).

Listening carefully, David determines that the rumbling sound has settled into a consistent frequency. Its origin is still a mystery.

Tal checks out the corridor to the left. It goes for about 100 feet before coming to a large pressure door.

Fortinbras presses some random buttons on the coffee machine, which fills with water and hums softly. A quick jet of brown powder is suddenly sprayed into the liquid. Only a moment after, Fortinbras hears a small but terrifying *click* as a small hatch opens and the cold, half-mixed coffee goo is expelled out to where a bottle-thermos should be waiting to collect it, collecting on Fortinbras' clothes instead.

Searching the rest of the kitchenette, Fortinbras finds only some biscuits, five granola bars, and a can of shockolate Power Thirst in the mini-fridge.

Swearing, Fortinbras changes his shirt with one of the ones he took from the locker room. He leaves the soiled shirt hidden in a cupboard. I hope none of them saw that.

Fortinbras takes the biscuits and granola bars, then eats a biscuit while he reads the ingredients label on the Power Thirst.

The power thirst ingredients are as follows:

    - sugar
    - chocolate
    - REAL LIGHTNING

David kind of bumps against the wall in the corridor.

    This is NOT good.

He moves to the side of the shaft and looks down what seems to have become a chasm of death at Daggit and Fortinbras.

You are all accelerating at a constant rate (so it's like gravity). Tal'vere and Daggit are standing on the pressure door at the bottom of the deep chasm of death that the hallway has become. David stands on a wall near the edge at the top, while Fortinbras hangs in front of him, barely keeping the tips of his fingers on the frame of the door to the small room.

Meanwhile, Granny is caught by surprise and is thrown hard against the far wall of the refrigerator room.

David reaches out as far as he safely can to try to help Fortinbras.

"Try to swing over towards me! I'll catch you."

There was yelling up above, the sound spiralling down the lengthy corridor. From the sound of it, David and Fortinbras could have used some help. Can't worry about that right now, the acceleration could change again and send us flying back out of the passageway at any time.

Tal'vere glanced at the door, trying to discern where the locking mechanism was so that Daggit would only need to cut that.

This door looks like the other ones that Daggit has cut through already. There are four locking points around the circular door, so that it must be completely removed if one is to cut through it.

Fortinbras swings forward and down, catching himself painfully on the ledge in front of David, who is waiting to help him.

Everyone feels lighter and then begins to float. The walls rotate around in a dizzying manner, and then everyone suddenly feels heavy again as the sideways force resumes its pull once more. There is stumbling as everyone tries to regain their balance. Fortinbras finds himself resting on the wall-floor by David's feet.
