As you all skid to a stop the Bombardment Suddenly intensified, causing the floor to ungulate and the lights to flicker on and off, it sends Selia, Jesara, Lyn Meii. Damian, and Cheelo to there knees as they lose there balance, the other manage to re-tine there footing, as the Bombardment moves away the lights fail plunging you in darkness, you hear the tunnel behind you collapse, as the Bombardment subsides for the moment, some emergency lighting flickers to life, as yo dust yourselves off you all begin to look for a way out, almost simultaneously, Jesara, Joorn, Cheelo, and Damian, spot near the top of the collapse sealing in front of the some light picking though, it might be possible to shift the large rock at the top aside and climb your way to freedom.

Come on! Quick! Cheelo scrambles up to the light. Before the whole thing comes down on us! He starts dragging rubble out of the way as best he can.

Lyn Meii

As the floor starts shaking Lyn Meii completely loses her foothold and falls to her knees, she swears in Mando'a "Oritsir". When she stands up and hears the tunnel collapse behind her she panics for a moment, before Cheelo shouts, "Come on! Quick! Before the whole thing comes down on us!".
Lyn climbs up the rubble and helps Cheelo clear a path.

When the floor twists and turns out from underneath Jesara, she instinctively drops down to lower her center of gravity. Once is stops and a way out is visible, she helps the others climb up the pile of debris towards the light. Once everyone else is clear, she follows.

Successfully maintaining his balance, Joorn quickly spots the small source of light. He runs toward it and starts helping those that are already trying to clear the rubble.

Karloth

In the darkness Karloth takes out his glowrod to get a better look around. He quickly follows the others up the rudimentary shaft once he sees where they're going. Once he makes his way up he gives everything he has to help budge the large rock blocking their exit.

Dra Ven braces himself as the room shakes and covers his head when the roof comes down on him, Not again.... Waiting until the rumbling stops, he looks around in the darkness and sees nothing until someone clicks on a glowrod. As his eyes adjust to the light, he takes up the rear and follows the rest of the group up the shaft.

with in a few minute, between the efforts of Lyn Meii and Cheelo they easily shove the large rock aside, letting in the sunlight as you climb out into the bottom of a turbolaser strike, as you look a round to you right you see some TIEs in the direction of the hanger bay, it looks like a pair of fighter escorting some bomber, as they make a turn to make another run, you suddenly you see a lone X-wing shot out of the hanger bay, it stays close to the ground and then quickly disappears. to you left is the Edan II forest and safety.

The last one out, Jesara climbs out of the hole without assistance to see everyone standing around. She immediately notices the TIE fighters and says, "Excellent. At least some of our pilots made it out. We should seek cover before the TIE fighters decide to hunt us down."

Jesara takes a look at this disabled turbolaser and adds, "I don't believe that is functional. Is anyone familiar with the external terrain?"

Taking a look around he's glad to see the lone X-wing pilot taking what he can only assume is his advice and fleeing instead of fighting. Thank the gods, he may live to see another day. Upon further examination the only viable option of escape is into the totally unfamiliar forest. BLAST IT! I should have paid closer attention in survival school, he thinks to himself. No, no I'm afraid I don't know a thing about this blasted planet. Get me around a computer and we'll be fine, out here, I'm of little use to any of you. It looks like that forest is going to be our safest bet though.

Cheelo brandishes his carbine and looks around. They'll be coming for the base after they've bombarded it to their satisfaction. We can run away like frightened prey, or we can set an ambush and turn the hunt on them. There's only a few entrances; We can stake out one and wait for our enemy to invade, to turn their backs to us. Then we strike!

Looking curiously at the Rodian, Dra Ven shakes his head. If it's a Star Destroyer up there, they can have 10,000 Stormtroopers on the ground in a matter of hours far better equipped than us. It's pointless for us to ambush a few dozen when hundreds will take their place. Lets get away from here as quickly as we can and wait this out to the best of our ability. With any luck, we should be able to come back and salvage something or repair the communications gear to get a signal out to be rescued.

...My people do not say such things. He shrugs. However, you do make sense. Fighting the troops with our numbers might be satisfying, but it will hardly fix the actual problem. No, you're completely right; we have to destroy that star destroyer.

"Destroy a Star Destroyer? Are you insane?" Chadin asked, finally catching up after having managed to not help at all with the heavy lifting. "The empire is way to strong to take on.."

"Our best bet bet is to run mindlessly into the forest and hide, gibbering, hoping they don't find us." He said, rubbing his hands together, obviously joking, and looking for a better plan.

"I also think moving towards the forest would be the best idea. As long as we try to get as much cover as possible, I for one don't want fighters and bombers noticing us". Lyn raises her head and looks for the trio in the sky.

She takes her lightsaber from the secret pocket in her sleeve and looks at it.
I wonder if this can protect from fighter lasers? She slowly shakes her head, I don't really feel like trying.
She takes one last look at the lightsaber and leaves it in her hand before she raises her head.
"We should get going as soon as possible, we need cover."

The Death Star was many times larger than any star destroyer, and that was destroyed. Anyways, we'd have to have a plan. Cheelo looks to the sky, following Lyn's gaze. In the mean time, sure, let's take refuge in the forest.

Even though he still feels a slight stab of irritation from not being able to help with the boulder at all, Joorn still feels a small amount of hope when he sees the forest.
Now there's a nice change of pace. Even if the fighters leave, they'll soon send troops to scout the surrounding forests in hope of capturing any suvivors. Best find some good cover, and fast.

Maybe we can sneak aboard some transport and flee, I don't know. But right now, surviving is the first priority.

He pulls out his blaster pistol, since it will be easier to run with a small pistol when compared to the sniper on his back.

Lyn takes a look at Cheelo.
"It is true that the Death star was destroyed, but as far as I know the rebels needed more than..." Lyn seems to be counting the people around her. "...nine people to destroy it, not to talk about fighters and bombers, which we don't have." She shakes her head and looks at Cheelo again, "No, I think the idea of destroying the Star Destroyer is a rather silly one, all we can do now is run and hide."
She looks at all the people around her again, I don't know any of these people...
"My name is Lyn by the way" she says while looking towards the forest.

Oh, uh, I'm Cheelo. Yeah, well, see... His brow furrows in thought for a second then frowns. ...let's get moving. No reason to give them a sitting target.

Already running towards the trees, he turns his head and shouts Are you guys comin' or not?! and then continues running.

After clambering out, the short young woman takes a second to examine her bloody arm, which has begun to scab over under a layer of dust. She then pronounces, "Good t' meetcha. Call me Sel." She pulls the blaster at her hip, "If we're lucky we can 'borrow' a hyperspace worthy shuttle from the stormies." She then starts to jog after the others

Jesara listens the opinions, but does not constrain herself as to not being able to destroy a star destroyer. Eventually she says, "Discretion would seem to be wise. We should seek cover in the forest."

Jesara looks around and says, "At the very least we should move away from this area. The Imperials are bound to explore the area immediately around this base."

Jesara moves with the others towards the trees, but at a casual pace. No rush.

Cheelo follows Joorn, carbine still in hand. Coming, yes.

"Chadin, charmed." He said, jogging up with the rest, and directing a nod at the ladies.

You make your way down the and pass the personal entrance that looks to have takeing strike from the turbolaser, You dash off into the dense forest, worried that the fighter might have seen you or another bombardment. peering up into the sky you see the white silver of a Star Destroyer in orbit. Several points on it flash green, Turbolaser bolts which rain down on the base, basting the ruins with every hit.

"Halt Right There!"Off to one side is two squads of 4 white-armored Imperial scout Troopers. they're picking their way through the dense forest undergrowth, trying to catch up to you. "Stop those Rebels!" their Commander Shouts. The trooper open fire.
