Anya, still looking throught the telescope, shakes her head. You stay below decks. I sent Luther down there to keep you safe. If you want to fight stand below the stern hatch. I can't spare more then Luther.

The ships approach from almost dead ahead, and Anya makes no attempt to avoid them. Anya spend most of her time shouting orders and staring through her spyglass. Suddenly, as the ships close in she hollers Starboard now helmsman, ballisas... NOW! The ship tilts beneath you and then shudders twice in quick succession. The lead enemy ship is hit once, near the water line, and begins to heel over. The second ship keeps coming and soon crossbow bolts and fireballs fill the air. Grappling hooks catch the railings and bind the ships together as men jump across for bloody fighting. Anya and her cutlasses hold the line as the decks dissolve into a bloody mess. Suddenly the other ship, appearently not quite dead, has released small boats as she approaches, and the sailors on these ships climb up the other side and join the fight. You see several light torches and head for the two cargo hatches, one aft and one forward.

You wait in the dark hearing only the muffled sounds above, when suddenly the ship turns and shudders. Cheers erupt form the ballista rooms near by. Just a few seconds later you hear a thud as if something had just bumped into the port side of the ship, and the sounds of battle begin to fillter downwards. Luther has his greatsword out and shoos you over to the aft hatch. Stay there. They might be- and then the front hatch bursts open and Luther begins to fight whoever is above. Moments later three men with torches and crossbows throw open the hatch just above you. Roll initiative.

Gil grins in relief for a secound glad that the waiting is over, however his relief is quickly crushed by the fear of open combat. Suppressing his fear Gil focuses on his magic and begins to chant while bringing the nessary focus out of his robes. At the end of his spell a badger appeared and it attacks the enemy closest to Gil begining to glow as it does so.

Edlyn

The moment the grappling hooks trapped the Seahawk, Edlyn drew the dagger at her hip. She knew she should feel worried, even afraid. They were about to be boarded after all, and her hiding place wouldn't protect her forever.

She wasn't nervous. She was excited, eager in a way she had never felt before but had no trouble identifying. She wanted to hunt. Still, she restrained herself; this was Anya's territory and these intruders were Anya's prey.

Not until the second wave of attackers hit did Edlyn emerge from her hiding place, making a bee-line for the rear-most member of the group decending through the nearest cargo hatch. With all of the Seahawk's other fighters already engaged, her target never thought to watch for an enemy coming from behind.

As you guys see the hatch open two of the pirates come down the stairs, one in front of the other, but as the last guy is coming down Edlyn jumps him.

Before her target could react, Edlyn struck again.

OK, Edlyn strikes again and hits her opponent.

Then Gil summons his badger at the bottom of the stairs, and it goes for the guy in front, but misses.

Then the guy in the back. (lets call him Red Bandana) Takes a swing at Edlyn with his torch.

Then the guy in the middle (Yellow Bandana) can't do anything because he is trapped between his friends, so he throws the torch into the darkness, in Gil's general direction. If he misses I'll roll again to see if it hits anything else (e.g. something highly flamable. *evil laugh*)

Then Trahan shoots at the man in front (Blue Bandana) and hits him in the shoulder.

Shifty shoots his crossbow at the first pirate he sees and is able. He screams the ancient Dwarven battle-cry, "Barak Kazad! Kazad ai Men'u!"

Edit: Shifty holds his ground and immediately reloads his crossbow, wishing desperately that he had a repeater.
(I also forgot, if its a point plank shot, the attack roll is 20. Otherwise its 19. The damage would also be 4 if it was PB, because that would give +1 damage. )

Gil begins to chant agian as the badger disappers back into it's home plane. This time when Gil finishs his chant a large glowing beetle appears where the badger just was. It quickly attacks the same person the badger attacked.

I cast summon monster 1 and summon a celestial giant fire beetle. It attacks (d20+1)[5] with a smite evil attack (+1 damage if evil target) and if it hits it does (2d4+1)[8] damage. (already added the +1 to damage from smite) Oh and the first summon's duration ended.

and Shifty joins the fight just in time to start off the second round, and puts a crossbow bolt through blue bandana's throat. He falls off the side of the stairs down, and lies there bleeding. Lonna's go next, then Gil (I assume you want to apply that attack to Yellow Bandana)

Easily dodging Red Bandana's weak swing, Edlyn once again aimed her dagger point at her opponent's vitals.

Gil summons but the beatle it misses

so it's Red Bandana's go at Edlyn

Then it goes to Yellow Bandana in the middle, who pulls out his cutlass and takes a swing at the beatle

Though her last attack had missed, Edlyn's face bore a predatory smile as she dodged Red Bandana's slightly stronger swing and darted in again.

Gil frowns as his beetle disappers. Third times the charm he thinks to himself before begining to chant agian. Soon another beetle appears and attacks the same opponenet it's predessor had attacked.

Shifty chuckles, "gotcha, you filthy thieving..." the sounds of battle drown out his next words. He carefully aims at another free target, then fires. He once again takes his time to reload rather than move.

Ok, Shifty first, he juuuust misses his target.

Then Edlyn attacks her startled opponent, maybe scoreing a crit hit?

Then Gil releases his beatle which proceeds to disembowel it's target and toss him over the side like a doll.

As Shifty's arrow whizzed past her opponent's head, Edlyn came in for the kill. Unfortunately, the man recovered faster than she expected, and her blow missed the mark, though it still hurt him. Pulling back, Edlyn said a word her father thought she didn't know as the man swung his torch at her face and, off balance, she was forced to ward off the blow with her free arm.

Once I come off this adrenaline high that's really going to hurt, she thought as she regained her balance. Oh well.

Her speed unaffected by the burn, Edlyn darted at her opponent once more, striking with the dagger still in her good hand.

Shifty starts to head above deck, looking for more action. He tightly grips his crossbow and prepares to fire at the first hostile he encounters. "No point in staying down here if there's no fighting to be had!"

Gil walks up to one of the recently made corpses, Just a second Shifty. Gil begins to search the corpse for any sort of identification. I want to find out who we're being attacked by if possible, and somebody should take a look at Edlyn's wound.
