OK, so... I thought I made this post. Lonna climbs up over the wall and tosses down some rope. Nobody is to heavy, and every one gets over. Inside you see that the ground is perfectly flat, well joined flagstone, and the flagstones have no grass growing in between the cracks. On the edge of the circle a stairway leads down, deep into the dungeon crawl. Who's going in first? (No really, I want to know who gets hit by the rolling boulder first.)

Gil looks around still trying to find some clues before entering the dungeon. Click chitters nervously from Gil's shoulder, unhappy with the idea of going underground.

Shifty raises his crossbow cautiously, keeping it ready...

Seeing that no one else seems to want to enter the dungeon first, Trahan lights a Torch and heads down the steps. Stay close

Inside Trahan finds a slowly spiraling staircase, following the arc of the wall. It deposits him, after about a half turn, into a circular space which, most unusually, is not bare rock or mouldy fungus, but rather a lavishly decorated and perfectly pristine room, with human sized furniture; a few scattered chairs and a small round table in the middle rest on a blue wall to wall carpet. Patterned red and yellow tapestries dot the wall, and directly across the room he can see another stairway down.

Gil walks over to the tapistaries and studies them, trying to see what pupose they have.

Will take 10 on a search check for a total of 14, and an appraise check (d20+3)[15]. Also has someone PMed the others?

Gil walks up, and sees that the tapestries are only attached to the wall by the top. In fact... they're curtains! In the basement?

They'd probably be worth a fair amount (5 gold each, there is about 10 in the room)... to some one in the city states, which is a long and perilous journey away.

Shifty looks around, glad to be under the ground for a change. All that outside air was starting to give him a headache. He feels the ground, using his Dwarven senses to detect any slight changes in the terrain.

"I say we go further down."

Looking around the room, Trahan says 'Well looks nice, but I think we should continue on. as he walks across the room room to the other stairs

Hold on a second. Gil pauses and takes out a blank parchment, he begins to draw a crude map. After he finishes he draws a simple symbol on the wall near the stairs up. There, now hopefully we won't get lost.

Trahan crosses the room without incident, and begins to decend the stairs similarly circular stairs. The room is basically the same, but there are wooden doors to the left and right of where he stepped off. Another set of stairs directly across from you leads down.

It looks kind of like this a big compass rose with stairway entrances at North/South and doors at East/West.

Well which room do you guys want to check first?

Gil shrugs as he continues to work on his map, drawing another symbol on the wall as he does so.

Shifty sniffs the stale air again, relishing it.

"I say we take the door to the left."

Shifty opens the door to the left and... finds himself staring at a dirt wall.

Gil notices the dirt wall and writes down something on his map.

Well one open, says as he looks inside

Clarification: The door opens, and instead of a hallway/whatever, there is just a dirt wall.

Gil opens the door on the right.

There is another wall of dirt packing the door frame.

Thought so. Gil mutters to himself before scribbling on his map.

Very Courious, two doors covering dirt walls... Oh well I guess nowere else to go but down. Trahan then proceeds to the stairs, searching as he goes.

As Trahan steps slowly downward the temperature drops. Ahead he can hear... chanting. As he steps down from the last step and peers into the room he can see a white glow filling the center of the room.

Upon hearing the chanting Trahan stops in his tracks. Looking around the room he tries to figure out what the little group is up aganist?

You can see a humanoid figure surrounded by light, floating several inches off the ground. His back is to you, but you can see that he is slowly spinning around in the air.

Trahan

Greeting floating one, What is this place?

OCC: I ready an action, if he goes to cast a spell I will fire an arrow at him

[The_JJ]

The floating figure turns until it faces Trahan. His eyes are vacant, his lips mumble strage gibberish. Then you all hear a voice proclaim, in your native language.The Redeemers have come. The shield becomes the sword. The portal opens. And then the floating man drops to the floor in a limp heap.

As he does so the dirt beyond the door ways shifts a little bit, slipping into the room.

Gil quickly writes down the man's words before entering the room and moving towards the dirt.
