I do different stuff. he pats his greatsword Sometimes I have to use this, but the instances where I do grow less and less as time goes by. Mostly I manage things this side of the ocean. Make sure everything is going alright, island hopping from problem to problem.

Doesn't seem to be a very good job, how'd you end up with it? I mean from what you've said it sounds like you never get a break plus you spend most of your time on this part of ocean keeping you away from civilisation most of the time and not only that you are responsible for every one of the colonies. Gil says.

He shrugs. Why in Seven Hells are you out here? The adventure, the comradery, the chance to make something new, better. He gestures at the bright sky and the ocean. I'd call this pretty nice. Besides, he pokes your shoulder civilazation isn't all it's cracked up to be when you're a half-orc with tribal tattoos.

Pff... since the Summer's Wind first left the harbor on a mad man's hunch. What was that, fifteen years ago? 'Course, it took us a half a year to actually find First Sight Island. I think Raymerez, Anya, and myself are just about the only people from that voyage still in the company.

There was only about 50 of us, and that first trip wasn't exactly low casualty. Nor was the next few years. Eventually those who couldn't make died or left, those that could got rich and left. Anya and I are just to stupid to take the money and run.

Edlyn 'Catfoot' Hosteler

In the middle of the night, Edlyn gets up and heads toward the entry to the cargo hold, moving quietly so as not to disturb the others sleepers. In her hands are what look like leftovers from the last meal the colonists were served - some small pieces of cheese and a scrap of tough meat.

Once out of the cargo hold, she begins to look for the grey cat she had noticed earlier, occasionally making small cat sounds that are the feline equivalent of a polite "Hello? Anybody home?" The combination of food and a human who can speak the language is, in Edlyn's experience, enough to draw the attention of any cat.

Kronork is going to hide the charts in his trousers again and head off looking for Gil with Edlyn's assistance. He wants to find him as soon as possible and be rid of the be-damned things as soon as possible, so he's going to say Gil, I need to speak with you. Now. Even if Gil is still in his conversation.

He'll probably even grab the smaller man's arm and try to pull him away--social graces that he has--unless Edlyn tries to interfere.

IR Edlyn: The rogue slips past the sleepers and heads to the door unseen. The cat come to the sounds quickly and respondes. Food meowmeowmeow human meow purr purr

IR Shifty: *snores*

IR Kronork: Finds Gil on the deck talking to Luther.

Which she will - with a hastily interjected "As soon as possible that is." She'll also put a restraining hand Kronork's arm - just a token gesture of caution, not enough to actually stop him from doing anything. If he cooperates she will guide him a few feet away and whisper "Even the Hawk waits for the right moment to strike, and we don't want to irritate our employer if it can be avoided."

That night: Edlyn greets the cat and offers it some of the food she is holding. When it has finished that she asks the cat what is behind the locked doors on the ship, showing which doors she means, if necessary. Once she's learned all she can, she thanks the feline and gives it the rest of the food. Then she goes back to bed.

Oh, hello Kronik. New tattoo I see. He traces his own. Least you fell in with a better tribe then I did. Hey Edlyn, some of your fellow colinists are wondering where you are. Two guys, they say they saw you back when we were on shore, but not since then. Crazy huh? It's been like a week now and you're sleeping in the same hold and everything.

That night: You get a long and mostly incomprehensible description of hiding places (many) sunny spots (none) and good places to find rats (far less then when the cat first arrived on the ship)

ugh, my bad.

I been on the Sea Hawk for about two years. Been a captain for about 9. first time as the acting captain of the On to Dawn She smiles That was an... interesting voyage. Left as a deckhand, came back a captain.

You're on the back (stern) part of the ship, the only person near you is the helmsman, who is utterly absorbed in his work.

Kronork stares at Edlyn irritably but allows her to pull him aside. Standing there, however, he glares at Gil impatiently, almost threatening him with his eyes to hurry.

OOC: Kronork is going to want to just hand Gil the papers right then, Edlyn, so before I just -do- it, I'm going to give you the opportunity to interject. They mean nothing to him and he doesn't know where Gil got them; just that it annoys him that Gil sent them to him.

Edlyn laughs out loud as she realizes who Luther must be referring to. "I'll have to track them down and reassure them I haven't fallen into the ocean," she answers, "but first, if you'll excuse us, Kronork seems to be having a bit of a problem with Gil's weasel."

Without waiting for a response she turns to Gil. "If you could be of assistance I'm sure we'd all be grateful." She then flashes a dazzling smile at all three men and begins walking toward the cargo hold, clearly expecting Kronork and Gil to follow.

A problem with Click? is he ok? Without any other words Gil rushes off, following Kornork and Edlyn.

Kronork snorts at Edlyn as she walks away and frowns at Gil as he passes. He hesitates a moment, looking at Luther, seeming to only now register his comment about his new tattoo. Smiling shyly he raises a hand to touch it and remembers that it is probably still raw and doesn't. He looks awkwardly at Luther and finally after slight hesitation mutters something intended as a fairwell and ducks away to join Edlyn and Gil.

Kronork will follow Edlyn until she turns to address him; and he's pretty sure at this point that he has managed to get himself in trouble with her, though he's not entirely aware of what for.

As you leave Luther you see Anya striding out of her cabin with a most puzzled expression.

Edlyn kept walking until she reached a deserted corner of the cargo hold, then turned around to face the other two.

"Sorry about that," she said, though frankly she didn't seem very sorry at all. "Don't worry, Gil, there's nothing wrong with Click, but I didn't want to talk about this particular matter in front of Luther, not yet at least. Kronork, would you please show Gil what Click gave you?"

No problem Edlyn, I know Click is ok I just said that for Luther's benifit. Gil turns to look at Kornork So what did Click find?

On a side note now that Click has finished his mission Gil commands Click to return to him.
