Belle reaches into the bag and attempts to slip the rings onto two fingers, then pull out the Dagger, Coins, and the Music Sheet. Well, I found these.

Albie

As Albie finishes up poking around the room, he spots Belle picking up the bag. She appears to adjust the contents of the bag, but he spots that when her fingers exit, they are more well-endowed then when they had entered. As he stands up facing Belle (and away from the rest of the group) and gives her a knowing wink. "Well well, the gods seem to have blessed us with what was in the bag." He reaches down and polishes the holy symbol of Olidamara hanging around his neck with his sleeve. "We should share what we've found together. Speaking of which, does anyone want to wear one of these necklaces?" As he says the last sentence, he turns around part way so that he can look around to everyone.

I'll add a Bluff check to the OOC thread, since I can't add it here. The bluff check is for delivering a secret message as described in the PHB. The message is something like: I saw you, but don't mind much. Just don't get greedy.

Looking over at what made the one girl scream out in terror Gike sees the withered hand.

"Oh pretty. May I take if you don't mind, it smells nice."

He licks his lips and starts to pet Winona.

Albie

Albie shrugs and pulls one of the necklaces out of his pocket, leaving the other one there. His eyes examine it, then look to Gike who was licking his lips, and back to the withered hand on a string. His eyebrows lift into a questioning expression. He slowly extends his arm with the necklace to Gike. "Sure, but this isn't food, you know. There is some evocation magic on it. So if you try to take a bite out of it, it might blow your head off. Hang it around your neck if you want, or put it in your pocket, but I wouldn't try to eat it."

To make things clear, in response to the DM PM. One of the necklaces is now in Gike's hand, the other one remains in Albie's pocket. He's reluctant to put it on without knowing what it does, but wants to at least hold on to it since it's not a good idea to just leave magic items laying around.

Belle, realizing she'd been caught, blushes a little, but gives an ever so slight nod. basically saying: Message recieved.

So, how should we split this small booty up? It's not much.

Ela engrosses herself in the music sheet.

"Woah, cool. Like I heard this guy once. He was pretty good."

"Aw, man. You guys think he's dead? That would totally suck."

Well, we only found the music sheet. It doesn't mean he's dead.

Okay, let's give Alexis the dagger. Ela has her music sheet, but she can keep the 10 cp and 4 sp. She begins handing out the treasure.

Then turning to Albie. You can have 2 gp and 7 sp.

Then to Gike. I'll give Gike the same, and the rest will be for me. Does that sound fair?

Taking the necklace Gike sniffs it and looks up as money is mentioned.

"Give me that, sounds fair, you cheat Winona get's red."

He sniffing the hand again he licks it and smacks his lips.

"Tastes chewy! Make good snack for later."

He hangs it on around his neck.

After handing the money to Gike, Belle backpedals over to Alexis, real fast.

Easy, fella. Don't bite my hand.

Ela looks at the coins, shrugs and goes back to perusing the music sheet.

"I think I can sing this one..."

Albie accepts the coin without comment.

When Gike announces his intent to eat the hand later, Albie shrugs and steps a little further away. "Well, I tried," he thinks. "Maybe he's just kidding, it's kind of hard to tell. Either way, it's probably best to just give him some space."

After Ela finishes with her song, Albie says, "Maybe we should get going. Did you get a chance to see what was down the other way Gike? Should we go back and explore that room or pick a different direction?"

Looking around at everyone Gike let's the hand drop on the necklace and looks around.

"Meh - I got a toy, let's go explore!"

Gike takes off in a random direction, though if everyone else disagrees he will join them.

He goes South and back towards the room he was in previously

Belle, looks at Albie. You guys are following him? Tell me which way you just came from, and I'll lead.

Albie

Albie sighs. "Not really. We've been letting him go first since he's probably best able to take a hit. Never know when a trap or something might take us by surprise, but its best to tell him which way to get going. Gike's might be on to something this time though. There was a room down there that we didn't really get a good look in. Maybe that'd be a good place to start. After that, if you want to take the lead though, be my guest." He begins trudging along behind Gike, using his spear as a walking stick.

Lead on Albie.

Belle will wait for Alexis and walk next to her.

So, what do you think of our new friends?

"Uh, okay. But we are trying to get that way."

Ela points to the north and a little west.

For whomever follows Gike to the south. As you look inside the room, you see that a single fire at the center of the room provides light to see by. Several bedrolls and two cots rest near the southwestern walls.

Belle will begin to search the room, both for hidden/secret passagways and for hidden treasure.

Albie enters the room and begins to poke around too. He focuses his attention on the bedrolls, looking to see if anything has been left under them or wrapped up in their folds. Then he joins Belle in a general search of the room.

Ela stays in the hall and studies the music she just got.

The room is rather cluttered. As Albie searches the bedrolls he comes up with two small leather bags.

Gike finds his own axe...

Belle finds out the walls are solid and the fire is burning merrily.

Well, it's a nice place to at least stop and rest for a bit, don't you think? I don't know about Alexis, but I haven't eaten for at least a day, so I'm kinda hungry. Belle sits down on one of the bedrolls.

Albie pulls out a handful of coins from the bags (10 gp, 6 sp). Along with the coins comes out a single green gem like nothing seen before.* "Heh," he says. "A little more to split up here eventually, it looks like." As he speaks, he examines the stone carefully. "If you need to have a sit down for a bite to eat, that's fine. We just woke up a little bit before we found you, so we're fine, but we can wait for you to grab a bite."

As Albie looks over the stone, he realizes it's not a common gemstone and he's never seen one like it before. With the right buyer, he could potentially sell it for a lot of gold.

Albie

Albie whistles softly. "This oughta be worth a shiny copper or two. I'm not really sure what it is, but it looks like it's gotta be worth something." He tucks it away in a pocket and sits down on one of the bedrolls to wait for Belle and Alexis to finish their meal.

Belle finishes her meal. Stands up and stretches for a moment.

Are you ready, Alexis? Belle offers her hand to her.

Alexis

"Yes, I think so," Alexis says, taking a last bite of her hastily eaten meal. Clearly, she was quite hungry. The hand doesn't really help any, since she's taller than Belle by quite a bit, but it's a nice gesture and she's trained to accept it. "Gods, I wish there were a way to get a decent bath along with a hot meal. I guess we'll just have to hurry and find what we're looking for," she sighs. "North, you said, right?" She looks at Ela, who seems to know where they were going.
