New plug for a convention I'm attending this weekend.

I'll tell you why I love PenguiCon so much. It's the only con I know with incredibly strong tracks for both things I do. They get that I do webcomics, and also that I do comedy music, and they want me in both tracks.

For the Dementia side, you'll be seeing me as part of a 3-hour FuMP show starting at 9 pm on Friday, and I will have a solo concert at 1 pm on Saturday. You will also be able to catch shows from this amazing line-up:

Frank Hayes
Tom Smith
the great Luke Ski
Worm Quartet

Reason enough to come. But then there are also these serious heavy-hitters of webcomics:

Aaron Diaz (Dresden Codak)
Eric Millikin (Fetus-X)
Jennie Breeden (The Devil's Panties)
Randall Munroe (XKCD)
The Ferrett (My Name is Might Have Been)

I know there are a lot of other reasons to come to this open-source/SF con (a big one for me this year is meeting my favorite living author, Vernor Vinge), but that's why PenguiCon is special to me. So please come out to Troy, Michigan this weekend if you can make it. It's a great event.
