The heavily armored hobgoblin in the rear holds up a symbol on a chain and shouts out in goblin

With these words, you feel a shockwave emanating from the symbol, though it is naught but a feeling of passing energy for you. The hobgoblin then turns to his ally who had previously been stunned.

"[goblin]Hrath! Be alert, the enemy has an illithid!"

The hob to whom he speaks is galvanized into action. First he begins shouting out his own orders to the rest of the hobgoblins, then he steps forward to take a swing at Xessalis, drawing his sword and readying his shield as he does so.

"[goblin]Steel yourselves! We will show them what it is to assault the minds of true warriors!

Xessalis staggers and falls under the enemy's torrent off attacks, his form bloodied and broken by the assault of the hobgoblins.

He lies, a bleeding wreck, still clinging- barely- to life, his vision fading as his lifeblood seeps out onto the floor...

Feldas frowns as Xess goes down, knowing there is nothing he can do. He focuses his Ki to become invisible, then tries to slip down the hallway to where he knows the enemy Illithid must be, hoping to cut the fighting short with a well placed blow.

Ok, so I'm going to move down the hallway while I'm invisible. I've lost track of where everyone is, so calculate the tumble DC as neccessary to get down the hallway to the illithid.

When Feldas appears beside the illithid, the scarred hobgoblin jumps out of the way, and even though the punch misses, the hob decides he'd be more comfortable further away. He moves forward to stand just behind his allies in the front, and blasts at the ninja behind him with another ray of acid.
