Soo what if Stanley Dies.
A thought occured to me today, Stanley Out in the field Presumably leaving Gobwin Knob to its "fate" but he's being hunted, by a squad thats about to get the jump on him next turn by changing turn order. Soo lets say they get to him and manage to wype him and his guards / dwagons out.
What happens to Parson and Gobwin Knob?
When Jillians Father/ King was killed she became a barbarian because she possesed no city. When King Saline was killed Stanley became Overlord because the King made him his Hier.
But what would become of parson and Gobwin Knob? Parson's not been made Stanley's Hier, He would presumably still control Gobwin Knob so I dought he would be disbanded or become a barbarian. Maybe they would become like the Gobwins, marbits and Elfs inwhich they have no "Royals/Overlords" but form alliances with the other sides for currency, that way maybe parson has an out by talking to Charlie agian (mostly because i dought Ansom would listen).
Or maybe Parson would be able to use some of the cities Treasury to make himself Overlord or pop another Overlord, After all he would be able to control the cities production and cities can make Hier's or delegate them apparently.Official Fire Starter of the Belkar Fan Club

Re: Soo what if Stanley Dies.
The most recent page established that Jillian assumes that croaking Stanley would "free up" Wanda. Even discounting her (apparently false) assumption that Wanda is under a loyalty spell, she's presumably right about that much -- killing Stanley would leave Wanda as a free agent (and would break a loyalty spell binding her to Stanley if there were one there to begin with). It's reasonable to assume that the same is true for Parson -- if Stanley croaks, he's be a free agent, and the threat of having his existence ended for refusing Stanley's orders would be gone (obviously, Stanley would no longer be giving any orders, so it's sort of a moot point).
The question of what happens to Gobwin Knob's remaining treasury and ability to produce new units is unclear.
