OOC: Invisibility lasts for 10 minutes so I suppose so yeah, nice catch on that, I had forgotten. Can you move silently and tumble at the same time? If so (1d20+11)[18]

Edit: Actually blur and invisibility both last 10 minutes so if one's gone the other is too. If I'm still invisible I'll attempt to move silently, if not ill just tumble.

As Torlo's spell takes effect, all of Aduro's wounds close, leaving streaks of bright red blood with no obvious source.

"Torlo stay back! I need room to fight this thing effectively! If I need immediate healing I'll let you know."

Despite the risks Aduro positions himself between Torlo and the beast, lashing out with his rope-like whip of flame.

The beast's first swipe hits hard, or it would have if Aduro's head was actually in that position. Aduro is not so lucky with the other claws. Another claw strikes, sinking deep into his upper chest. The third claw makes its mark on Aduro's stomach, with both claws forming a sort of pincer around Aduro's midsection. The fourth claw barely misses Aduro, but to the beast, it doesn't matter. The two claws converge on Aduro's chest, causing a massive gash on his stomach.
The beast then dives head first into the wound, tasting the exposed flesh and letting its horn scratch Aduro's body, tenderizing it.

OOC: Your AC is 26, right? Haste has worn off. I'm guessing it's 109 damage.

"My god, no! Don't hurt my friends!"

Cory rushes to behind Aduro and heals him. Spontaneous conversion to cure serious wounds:

Cory sees Aduro's eyes reopen. "Thank goodness you're alright now."

OOC: Auto-pilot for Cory again. Go Melodrama, go!

[Orran]

"Cory, this is no time for melodrama!" Torlo yells, "I should know, I'm a bard!" He then runs up to Cory and Aduro, (While still out of the monsters reach if possible.) and touches each of them with a hand each. The room swirls around them for several seconds with bright blue light interspersing with their vision. The light disappears suddenly, leaving specks of blue and green floating around the room - which is now the room in which they entered the tomb.

Torlo slumps to the floor, "I hope we're far enough away."

You hear a roar, loud and angry, emanating from the corridor you were just in.

OOC: Battle's still not over yet. You may be out of sight, but you're not out of mind. It's fendrin's turn right now.

Aduro

Aduro looks at his companions with dire seriousness.

"Heal me. I'm going back in there to kill that thing and bring back Erika's remains."

He once more summons forth his fiery whip and sends a surge of additional fire entwining around it.

"When I go, stay on this side of the pit. If I can keep moving I have a better chance of surviving. If I have to get between it and one of you, I can't move."

Suddenly, the gnome smiles with a wide grin, a bit of his previous good cheer tinged with insanity shines forth.

"Besides, I've got another trick up my sleeve that will make it regret attacking me."

EDIT: Just as an FYI, having been knocked unconscious does not in any way affect Aduro's Soulmelds or Essentia allocation, however, he does lose his Psychic Focus.

[Orran]

Torlo seems unable to move for a few seconds then carries on as though nothing had happened, "I hope you'll be ok in there on your own" he says with an obvious new respect for Aduro. "I know you and Erika didn't get on too well but you seem to be the most effective out of all of us. I should of stayed on this side to begin with, I'm much better with my bow anyway."

Blue light twirls around his hand and he holds it over Aduro's wounds, some of them binding together and bleeding less profusely, but a lot is left. "That's the most effective healing I have left, I'll have to leave it to Cory, I'm almost spent magic-wise."

He blinks.

"Wait, whatever gave you the idea that I didn't like Erika?"

Torlo sighs, "Well you guys always seemed to have a bad vibe, excuse me for trying to inject drama into the situation. Remember what I said about being a bard earlier?" then his hands light up again, but not as brightly and he spends some time healing Aduro more.
