    OOC: Just checking before I post the next description, have any of your characters lit a torch at all? I know some of you have darkvision, but some of you should also be groping around blind. If stupnick's blinking flames are your only source of light, then you need to get him closer if you want to see in color.

    Alexis:
    You push hard on the pit trap at C5. It opens with a grinding crash. It appears to be ten feet deep and filled with thick spikes at the bottom.

    Bok (cannot see in color until someone lights a torch):
    The corridor ends with a leering devil face. The devil’s mouth gapes wide and empty.

    To the left of the corridor, near the end, is an archway of some sort.

    Irazeg walks down to the end of the hall, for some reason staying in the red line (except for where the traps are) and rests against the devil thing.

    Lots of OOC:
    To Moff Chumley: Corridor is longer than the map indicates and if you don't have a torch, you can't see where the path is.
    To KCiemir: Ah, you lit it outside and never mentioned it again. Still, that's one torch. Anyone else have one?

    Now in color!

    (Wall at B13/C13)
    A fork of the red tile path leads directly to a leering devil face set in the mosaic at the corridor’s end. The devil’s mouth gapes wide and empty—in fact it is dead black, emitting no hint of light and allowing none entry.

    (Wall at C12/C13)
    A section of the red tile path leads into a mist-filled stone archway. Three large stones are embedded in the arch. Each has a different hue—yellow on the lower left, bluish at the top of the arch, and orange on the lower right.

    Both the archway and the mouth of the statue are emitting auras. The statue is emitting strong transmutation, the archway is emitting strong conjuration. The entire back end of the corridor is emitting an aura of strong necromancy.

    Alexis missed the runes when he entered. If you go back to the beginning of the corridor, you can take a full-round action to spot them now that you know it's there.

    Hey guys sorry for the lack of posts but I'm currently in the process of moving and have almost no idea when I will get a chance to post, but I'm still wanting to. I should have internet back up by sometime the week after next.

    Because I'll be out of contact for a little while, here is what Winnet will do:

    She will continue to search the walls and ceilings and add doorways to her reptoir. She will not, however, be touching anything in her searching just visual inspection.

    She'll follow Alexis' lead and if asked to investigate something or disable something she will. Please please please don't get Winnet killed.

    Winnet will also make Knowledge checks at every opportunity.

    If a fight occurs Winnet will use Multishot and boost it (+7) with an inspiration point, targeting whatever seems the most dangerous.

    If Winnet has to make some kind of saving throw she will boost it (+7) with an Inspiration point.


    Winnet will give disapporving looks to Irazeg at every opportunity. Regardless of what he's doing or how helpful he's being, especially if he's being helpful.

    Having looked over the runes, Alexis strides back to the end of the corridor where his companions stand around. He takes a closer look at both the demon and the archway, but does not touch anything. "Anyone else see anything worth noting?" He asks as he examines the statue.

    Take 10 seaching demon for traps or anything interesting, then same with archway. Search = 10 + 23 = 33. If Alexis finds no traps, he finds two small stones, and hurls one into each entrance.

    Once you finish walking down the east side of the corridor, you search around the statue and the archway. You find nothing new about either one. You see the red, yellow, and orange hued stones in the white archway, and the big black hole in the green statue of a demon's head.

    You hear no noise after throwing a stone into the demon statue's mouth. After you throw the stone through the archway, you hear a tiny clack coming from far behind you.

    *Edit* Opps, typo. Clack, not clank. You are not going to be attacked by a giant robot. Or are you?

    Possibly seeing a connection, and realizing that he is in no immediate threat of attack (there are others closer that the robot will clearly go for first ), Alexis repeats his experiment, but this time he picks two very different and odd looking rocks, and uses his hand of the mage to guide the rocks into the holes. He then tries to retract the rocks back to his hand. As the stones pass through the holes, he listens closely for a clack.

    You find you are unable to remove the rock from the mouth of the demon statue...because it has disappeared. How odd.
    You place the other rock into the archway. You once again hear a clack, but it's softer this time, and not as loud. You are again unable to retrieve the rock...it has disappeared. You're starting to feel either curiosity or annoyance.

    Once you start walking back towards the entryway, you hear several more clacks. They're getting louder. You cannot find the rock you threw, but there are plenty of rocks near the entrance. Once you get to the entrance, a rock whizzes by your ear.

    After your reaction, you see that a couple of local children are throwing rocks into the hole for their own amusement. They see your armor and run away.

    A broken, 8-foot-tall statue of a four-armed gargoyle squats here, alone and in the dark. Its three remaining hands appear as if in positions of supplication, or need.
