Horod
"Stupid vermin. Oh, well."
He charges past Graven to attack one of the rats, raking it with his chain.Folding@Home

Re: Module Chain
Horod's heavy swing connects with the rat, crushing the life from it and sending it flying across the room. One of the commonfolk near the door screams at the wet thwack and spray that erupts from the connecting attack.
Several of the rats move at once, lightning from the still open doors illuminating their flight from the depper recesses of the tor: one running up to Graven and gnawing at his bootstrap, another runs in Iare's direction, the next taking advantage of Graven's misplaced swing to score a nip at Graven's forearm; still another charging up to Horod and scoring his greaves; the last running forward from the back of the room to come at Joe and Iare.Last edited by KelianWeynolt; 2008-07-01 at 07:38 PM.

Horod
Horod mutters, "Oh no you don't." and strikes at a rat as it attempts to charge him. It drops where it stands.Last edited by thevorpalbunny; 2008-06-26 at 04:09 PM.

Re: Module Chain
Iare steps forward, wanting to contribute but unsure as to how much good he can do. I could burn them all - but that would hit the half-orc too, and that might be bad...
Iare swats at one of the rats out in the open, ineffectually.

Graven Bloodmoor
Spoiler
{table]Graven Bloodmoor|Half-Orc|Male|Fighter 1|LE|Med
HP: 10/10|30' spd|AC/T/FF|14/10/14||

With a fierce roar Graven brings his sword to bear against the creature who made a small tactical mistake (AoO on #4). The sword rips into the flesh of the rat (I am assuming with a roll of 24) which cleaves the rat in half (17 dmg). He then turns to another rat (for his regular turn) and his sword once again comes down upon a helpless rat (18, I am guessing a hit) which he again cuts the poor crazed animal in half (15 dmg).I am posting from my IPhone 90% of the time. Please forgive any spellcheck errors.

Re: Module Chain
As bits and halves of rats go flying from Graven's swings, another rat makes a dive for Horod, but misses completely.
Joe steps up to the goblin that Iare tried to strike and delivers his own attack attempt, but the rat very nimbly slips to the side at the last moment. The rat nearby also attempts to jump up and nip at Iare, but Iare is all too ready, and follows up on his previous attack with one aimed at the approaching foe. His quarterstaff connects on the rat's skull, and the normally timid mage crushes the tiny foe.

Re: Module Chain
Horod silently goes about his work, swinging at the rat in front of him and taking a step north. He misses by an inch and curses.
