"I like shooting stuff?"

Mir grew up on a planet that was in constant civil war with one liberator setting fire to the "oppressor" constantly. Having grown up in this kind of situation, Mir learned quickly to mind his own business and not ask questions. Near the age of 18 the war escalated to such levels of a global war. His mother died and his father, who was a soldier, was partially crippled and deemed unable to battle. The war ended and after 2 years Mir had gained enough wealth to immigrate to another planet.

On this planet, having no education or useful skills, Mir was jobless for a few months. In this period Mir joined the police for a few weeks but got kicked out soon for his more brutal methods. Once again jobless Mir found employment as a mercenary but under the name Magnus. For about 2 months "Magnus" did small jobs for anyone who was willing to pay, until he was hired by the inquisition.

Magnus worked for the inquisition, seeing it as a mere employer and working for the payment. But soon Magnus found the job and its tasks as "fun" and took a deep respect to space marines and to the Emperor.

Magnus, or Mir, is not very wise and likes to do a mission the straight forward way: with a gun or sword. He dislikes stealth but he will always refer to the most efficient way.
