As kyeudo said, he cast a spell, Obscuring Mist as identified by your spellcraft check. He's surrounded in shadows. He now has total concealment vs you.

A creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).

Okay, kinda complicated technically, so I've figured the angles already. I want to know the area affected by the obscuring mist. If it was targeted on any of the corners of the 13 row, I would have seen the spell spread from there and I can extrapolate the area. If not, I'd like to know all the squares that have mist in row 13 and 14. Also, if Mist is in A8 or B8, I can see those from my current position. For your reference, OM is a 20' radius from the intersection targeted. Thanks.

well i made an illegal move yesterday, 2 moves back. my last action was maintain, the one before i did a 5ft step and readied. yesterday i could not access the map, so i thought i was moving from E6, to E7, but in reality i moved from E6 to F6, which is through a glass wall... please advise

i am fine saying i never made the move and i am located in E6. but that is your call. None of my actions reliant upon that move, and we would still have LOS at this point, triggering my readied.

Ok, I actually had to trace some lines to test it out... but Line of Sight is established.

While I greatly appreciate the time you've spent to give us a LoS check, if you had read my move more closely, you'd see I stated that I was hiding and that I rolled a hide check.

Stupnick, if you'd roll a spot check, the DC is only 3 so there's a good chance you'll make it. If you do, you can go ahead an take your readied action. If you fail, we'll deal with it from there.
