After receiving his share of the gold Mottle wanders around aimlessly for some time before slipping into the nearest inn for a quick bite. As the time for the mission comes closer he spends some minutes in song, and arrives slightly early riding a large smokey looking steed.

Scowling, Tynze shakes his head. "No. Val did not. He brought a demon here, and through subterfuge and treachery by Val's enemies, the demon was freed." His smile returns. "Now Val - and his agents such as myself - works hard to restore things and defeat the fiends and their allies. We make progress and the strongest, most capable will come out of this victorious."

The huge man steps down from his even larger mount and shakes his head.Not yet, no, I do hope the little human dressed in black doesn't hold us up again

"He'd better not," comes Allison's voice as she fades back into view nearby. There is something about walking the streets off-duty while visible that grates on her, as if she were flaunting her lack of activity to the guards and everyone else. The habit of hiding herself from sight has gotten her into trouble a time or two with defenders who can see through illusions, but it hasn't stopped her yet. "He's wasted enough of our time already."

"It's three gold a week, eighty if we have to clean up blood stains." the innkeep, a large, friendly looking human says. "So make sure you bleed somewhere else."

"Oh." The boy is quiet for a moment. Papa must have misunderstood."

You can converse longer with the boy, but you will leave with the feeling that he enjoys your company, although you can't really get him off of the fact that his father was a good man. You also get the feeling that he only wears the medallion of Pelor because it belonged to his father, not out of any pious sentiment.

Tynze leaves the boy with a smile and promise of more visits, but explains the situation of having a briefing upcoming that required his presence. Plus the chance to kill more demons.

The big man approaches the others who seem to have already gathered together. "So we're waiting on the lich and the mage. Again?" he snorts derisively.
