Works similiar to Metamorphosis Alpha

General premise: A colony ship that was sent on multi-generation voyage that had a cataclysm that the surviving inhabitants became scattered tribes that somehow managed to be alive (probably life support system was really robust with some trying to get protagonists take control of the ship before it collided with planet/asteroid/sun).
The one I found is Darians from Space 1999, Warhammer 40k's RPG and novels that had tribal descendants of stowaways and deserters in secluded part of ships (even active ones), Star Lost, and Star Trek's multiple episodes on derelict generation ships.
Mostly just that I am curious which novels/comics/movies/tv series explored that aspect along with trying to get inspiration for tools and attire of a character based on Metamorphosis Alpha.

I remember that one. Metamorphosis Alpha also took inspiration and even put it as “suggested reading” list.
