The grasping shock of the attack did not faze her; it seemed that the armor absorbed most of the damage, and some of the smoke missed. She screamed and strung wildly at the storm thing with her sword again.

"Get off my ship, *&^%&^!" she continued on in her cursings, cursing as the proverbial sailor does.

Lanzo will look over the side of the ship for the source of the other attack, since this demon cloud is shrugging of his taunts while bracing for further attacks.

[Mantid]

Strongarm's (correctly) enchanted attacks land powerful blows against the monster, sending a large portion of the creature's massive face into the winds. The beast pulls back from the Warforged only to have one of Cooky's blows nearly sever its retreating hand.

As the creature tries to retreat up the masts, snapping more crossbeams and rigging as it goes, more attacks fly its direction. Besc flips upwards to land another powerful kick on the beast, while Celidea finally reaches the crossbeam, slashing the monster's side with her scimitar. Nelsrial struggles up beside her, but his wild attack swings wide. Dan's blast flies wide, along with another dagger from Melsitel. Almor simply throws more curses at the monster.

The assault seems too much for the retreating horror, and with a final thunderous boom, the creature's shape begins to break up, the arching light of electricity fading and the clouding body blowing away in the wind.

Another crash below the Wake reminds you that the fight is not yet over. Peering over the side of the boat, Lanzo is unable to spot the assailant in the storm turned waters and only receives a face full of water for his efforts.

Jhaida contines to struggle against the weather, straining at the wheel with the added pressures of the retureating storm creature and the attacks from underneath. ((Prof Sailor - (1d20+6)[15])) Unfortunately her efforts are not enough and the ship begins to drift at the mercy of the waves.
