He selects one of the newer ones and makes his way there. Prepared to break in the back door when he gets there.

He simply pressed the button for the doorbell and waited for a face to show up in the glass or the door to open. Upon contact with the outside world, he became visible again. Still, he didn't look too threatening. In fact, he looked sort of mousy and weak hunched inside his ill-fitting coat and hat.

No one answers the door. In the distance, the clock tower on one of the neighborhood church's steeples clicks a minute closer to 3AM. Touching the house caused a small stinging senstation similar to an electric spark. Your beast is very uneasy here and wants to flee.

Sunrise will be coming up in about 2 hours, but there is a chance of rain today so the sky is overcast. The back door of the Toys'R'Us is open. Unfortunately for you it is because today is the day the latest shipment comes in. Workers are unloading a semi-truckfilled with packages of dolls, action figures, video games, and a few Nintendo Wiis.

Harold continues to rely on obfuscate as he attempts to make his way through the workers, hoping their business would keep them occupied long enough to find what he was looking for. Keeping close to the walls, he searches the place for anything that might suggest entry into a basement or the like.

    Castor

Castor brought out his little notebook even as the door remained unanswered and began writing in it as the church bell tolled in the distance. He described as best he could the feeling he was getting from the house itself. He also made an effort to locate any symbols or markings or even scratches in the dirt that to anyone else might look completely harmless and mundane. Officer Vil was rather well-funded. He would merit another visit.

With that, Castor turned and headed towards the nearest intersection to catch the bus. With the time that remained to him he took as roundabout a route as he possibly could before finally settling in at home to weather the passing of the day.

There's a variety of stuff here for the taking. Boxes of surplus Starwars Lightsabers, Legos, a bike shop for assembling bikes, one guy is assembling a baby crib for a display. Sadly for him the instructions are in Swedish.

The Store room in the back has a second floor to it, maximizing storage space, but the store itself does not have a basement. You confirm by looking at the storemap on the fire escape plan posted near a stairwell that there is no basement in this Toys'R'Us.

Detective Vil is indeed well funded for even with Malkavian's madness driving him, Castor could not find anything out of the ordinary. Until the Clock struck three.

The beast screamed, Castor was not sure if it was his own. He could feel the goodness of the sacred sound of the Church Bells even as it vibrated through him. His skin burned through there was no flame. And that was the first chime. The second chime continued vibrating his molecules making his teeth hurt as well. The third chime divinely shook him again. Castor found himself on the ground, this time the stinging coming a little stronger. The Beast has at least quieted down for now. Thankfully the damage to his body was caused by sound, sparing him from having marks all over his body. His insides however still hurt.

Castor picks up his note book and writes. "Suburb is on hallowed ground. Church bells possiblly blessed by someone with strong faith. Area hostile. Vil has unexpected defences against Kindred. Do not go to this suburb before 1 AM."

Castor eyed the hose in Vill's yard and the sprinkler system hooked up to it. It might be a good idea to at least be out of its range just in case.

[Castor took 3 Aggravated damage from the Church bells.
Edit 1: And Castor gets the 1 XP award for drawing first blood.
Edit 2: I should also add that this is unusual and that there was no reason for your characters to suspect that the Church Bells would have this effect. Again Stressing that this is not normal. You would have heard Church since your embrace without any pain. At most, you would have felt the need to flee from them.]

He quickly and quietly leaves the store, marking it down as a no-go. Noting the closeness of the sunrise he moves to the first manhole he sees and goes down into the sewers to find shelter. He doesn't drop his guard or uncloak his presence, however. Strange sewers aren't always safe, even for Nosferatu.

Let me know if/what I need to roll to find shelter.

Yes shelter. Everyone, let's finish up the scenes we are in and start planning on the weekly action. send me your, downtimes, stuff you want to accomplish over the next week. I'm sure there will be lots of investigating of Toy Stores.

as it is, every one should be able to find shelter or get back to their havens in West Strand.

"There are sheep and there are wolves, Mr. Bannon." The Prince starts rambling, "The sheep has eyes on the side of its head for a greater field of view. But a wolf has eyes on the front of its face to judge the distance to its prey.

"You have taken a seat across from me, between males this is a sign of confrontation, something that predators do. I take it you are a wolf and not a sheep. Yes?"

The Prince continues for a while with his somewhat random rambling. Going over various odd questions, Are you a Tiger or a Lion? Tigers hunt for themselves and Lions get others to hunt for them. How do you get an Elephant into a Refridgerator? most 2nd graders can figure it out but many professional businessmen can't.

During the rambling, Iulianna grasps her head and zones out. The Prince uses that moment to mouth the words "Get rid of her" to Clark.

    No rolls needed right now.

Clark watched the prince bemusedly. So, this was the guy in charge? He found it quite silly, even ridiculous. Ironic as well. You thought things would change when you had died, but then it turned out that the world of the bloodsuckers was very close to the world of the humans, only that they couldn't walk in the sun and had to feed on blood.

As Iuliana doubled over, Clark reached out and caught the falling woman in his arms. He held her, watching her face for a moment, until he heard the prince's words.

"Get rid of her?" Clark mouthed back, face almost incredulous, but still looking as if he didn't care. Keep the poker face on, buddy. Maybe you didn't hear the prince properly...who the hell knew anyways.

The Prince nods, indicating that he doesn't trust her. Iuliana has her eyes closed and is wrinkling her face while rubbing her temples. She appears to be in some sort of discomfort.
