What does this man have to hide from? If he is employing me would it not be useful if he is running from? As well as who these people are.
He then begins to loosening his armor but not before asking a few questions.
"If all have you have been chosen to help, 'this employer' you all must be skilled at some thing. I my self has many divine powers, as well as proficenct with this mace. What gifts do you have?
Oh how long will this ride last?"

Zordek doesn't exactly look stealthy, but he pretends to enjoy the ride, while keeping his eyes open for trouble.

The druid runs ahead with the others and makes a rather stunted attempt to leap up into the cart. After a little struggling he falls over the top and lies down with a sigh.

"I assume that our abrupt departure and humble transportation are due to political concerns."

Something like that. Now, stop talking to the floor.
The cart picks up speed and rounds a corner. Three turns later the man sits up. Very sorry. Now for introductions. I am Ozia, our driver is Sani, and I know who you are. The cart rattkes on southward, leaving the actual city of Olaris, which ends rather abruptly. The cart climbs a few ridges and after the third one, you see a small, run down stone tower.

Jull looks suspiciously at the tower. He never really like stone buildings. They gave him a feeling of being... stuck.

I know who you are because you willing spilled you life stories out for my... co-workers to hear in a tavern. He holds up his empty hands, which looks kind of funny since he's sitting on the floor between all of you. I apologize, but needs must, time presses, and you are the only options I have at this point. Dumb luck brought all of you blabing and sitting in the same tavern, and I have to seize our chance. So I havn't really preped anything. My apologies if this all seems abrupt. Apology. We are... in a delicate situation, and we need a way out.

You know that this is the first tower built on Olaris for the Jade House, and you had thought it had been shuttered up for years. Any of the modern day nobles would be hate to live there, rather living in a big, if nontraditional, manor.

As Sani (the driver) hustles inside. Ozia simply stares at all of you for a moment, until he obviously reaches the end of some mental limit. You can come inside or leave. If you come, you'll learn everything we can tell you, and get a very nicely paying job. Or you can leave. We will watch you for some time time to make sure that you don't talk, but half the reason for this secracy is for the sake of your mission, not our lives. Now... he leaves.

With a bland look at the others Wave-Watcher slips off the cart and follows the two inside.

"I apologize if we were taxing you, but you have to admit that anyone's curiosity would be piqued by your dilemma, whatever it is."

The monk follows quietly beside the druid, but not after a light tug on Jull for him to follow. Seph kept his arms folded behind his back, and a little hunched over, and his eyes, darting from side-to-side. A bad habit it was when he was showing he was ready for just about anything.

Jull follows closely behind Seph, trusting his judgment on this matter, but still ready to draw his blade if the situation required it. He idly runs a finger along one if his extremely sharp lower canines as he trudges along, wishing that life were a little simpler sometimes.

After a moment, Malvina shrugs. In for a copper...

Zordek enters as well. He looks around as he finds a place near the host, noting anything suspicious.

Ozia nods when he sees you are all ready to go, and leads you into the tower. A few rooms later you come to some sort of parlour, if only because it has some mismatched wooden furniture in it, as opposed to all the empty ones before it. You stand around for a brief moment, and then a youngish man, with the same skin and hair as Ozia strides in, throwing a rather exotic cloak over his shoulders as he does so. Sani caught me up to speed, Ozia, now get to the docks and tell them to be ready. he says, with an Imperial accent. Ozia bows deeply and leaves Take a seat, please, I've got a story to tell and a proposition to make.

Malvina takes a seat and gets a slight smirk on her face.
A proposition, y'say? Well I gotta tell ya right now, I ain't that kinda girl.

Jull takes a seat with some difficulty, motioning for Seph to sit beside him, on the side closer to their host.

He smiles humorlessly at Mal, *****... bloody hell, raises, an eyebrow at Jull's grammer, and glances at Wavewatcher. In the short form, five years ago my father became very rich. He got close to the aging King-Under-the-Forge, one of the more powerful dwarven rulers, and cooked up a little scheme, and was on his way home with several thousand dragons in debt but tens of thousands in jewels and an application for a title when the pirates came. He stops here, for a moment. No survivors. But the Black Crows went straight into infighting and then sudden prominece, along with rumors of a major gem haul. my sister and I, on the other hand, were suddenly eye deep in debt with no capital to restart. Right now, house Jade holds the debt, and keeps us here as collateral for our aunts and uncles loyalty.
I have a ship and a skeleton crew and all I need are you, or whoeverelse might have that... aventurous spirt and skillset. I want you to kill or despoil the corpse of one 'Black Crow,' and recover the gems.

Jull listens silently as the majority of what the man says goes over his head with a whooshing sound similar to that made by deadlines. However, he does understand the words; pirates, kill and gems, but most of all; ship. A grin etches itself across his face.

You is givin' us a ship n' crew? Hah! Say der word 'nd I'll get yer shinies 'n spit in der eye of der sod wot stole 'em, free of da charge!

Jull lets out a deep, bellowing laugh, parts of his armour rattling with its intensity. He turns to Seph, slapping him on the back.

You hear dat buddy? We coulds be on der sea! Der freedom at lasts! Haha!

He continues to laugh for a few moments, but takes a hold of himself quickly.

But... I'll only be goin's if Seph goes.

Malvina leans forwards, grinning. So basically, y'say you want us to kill pirates and break their things? Count me in.

Wave-Watcher thinks for a moment and then nods.

"Even parasites have their place," he says, "But I will help you. If a parasite does not get culled then it rampages through the world and feed off of everything until there is nothing left. If you want one of their number 'despoiled' I can give them to my squid for food."

Gods above! All these years on a ship as part of a crew would finally pay off. Ah good days indeed.

"I'm more than good, my friend. I reckon our time on the ships will prove to be of worth." Seph said with a wild grin, and a sly glance over to Jull, sitting right by him. These arrangements between them rarely needed to be said.

"One question though, kind sir. How loyal, competent, knowledgeable, and battle worthy are they?"
