I have. More than once. He did it ALL THE TIME!! in thread 1.
And he can't summon a giant fish on me if a giant fish is not within 30 feet of him anyways.

So ? It's still useful as an at-will combat ability and as a biological weapon. And Leroy is, normally, always near Salmon. He just disappears when we forget about him.

All my magic is an at-will power too.
But I think that summoning a giant fish from anywhere at any time, then use telekinesis to chuck it at your enemies is more useful than having the fish HAVE to be within 30 feet of you to work.
