GLoG II: Now with 30% More Sporks

A war thread would be nice, especially since it's nearly impossible to enter your base without losing anything-

His red eye glances at the empty space where his organic one once resided.

-And I'm not entirely keen on having the entire conflict housed in a place called a Visiting Center. Poor for our morale, y'know. Someplace big, spacious, and neutral.

At first I was thinking a big open countryside, but that'd only work for one little conflict, one explosive, but short-term showdown. A giant playing field, an entire world run by a neutral party, with cities and towns and castles for the taking and converting, with futuristic flying islands and tempes protected by ancient gods and goddesses, etc.

Of course, that'd probably be way too much work for whichever poster would be narrating stuff. What if we just find a nice valley, put two buildings on either side of it, and run around killing each other in a game of Capture the Flag?

Oddly enough, the cyborg seems entirely serious about that absurd little idea. He then smiles devilishly at Fanboy.

YOU know what explosives. If you force me to take them down myself, I can't promise you that they won't be a little unstable when I return them to you. It'd be a shame if I, with my lack of expertise in bomb-handling, accidentally set one of them to blow up in your new home, wouldn't it?

Turtle hugs Fanboy tightly, completely forgetting Magtok. It was the old me, she whispered. I wish it had been a demon. But it wasn't. It was me. She has to struggle to keep from crying again.

Then she hears what Magtok has to say. We're not creating a new world just to fight over. That would definitely be evil. Whatever we do, is between us. No innocent bystanders, unless they get sucked in by Plot.

Magtok glances at the red thingy, carefully planning out his next words as he folds his hands together.

We've gotten to slyly threatening to nuking the bad guys and making a war thread. I've got to say, even the Puppetmaster Peace Talks of '87 went better than this is going.

Hmm...I suppose it would be evil to do that to innocent bystanders...Well, I could just go ahead and call in some favors to have the world made, and then start looting and pillaging it so that you folk are forced into the matter by your consciences. We'd get a nice little head start, and you'd get to keep your lovely little morals intact.

The cyborg's diplomatic smile starts to disappear, and any lights around him might find themselves being dimmed to improve the dramaz as he rises slowly off the ground, with a mad glint in his eye.

Morals that would, of course, be sacrificed if one of your members were to engage in a pre-emptive strike against us by triggering explosives hidden throughout our home.

The cyborg's head and body lower in mock-sorrow, giving the opportunity to reach into his robes quickly, grab his fancy-schmancy techno-pistol (which fires fancy-shmancy death lasers, of course), and fire off a round aimed at the Fanboy. Whether or not the shot hits is, obviously, up to the person playing Fanboy.

((On a side note, from what I've seen of HALO in the past, they seem rather keen on staying to themselves, and probably wouldn't be interested in anything outside their own affairs. I personally would rather not play with them.))

Turtle sporks a wall between Magtok and the GLoG members. ((though certainly not quickly enough to stop the first blast. Me not being faster than light and all. ))

The round impacts fanboy squarely on the chest sending him flying backwards into a wall, crashing through conviently into the spork room.
But while he SHOULD have been knocked unconsious, he merely got up dusted himself off, and pull'd out a shiny red switch.
