Inkscape problem
I'm working on something in inkscape, and it won't save. It's not frozen, and everything else will work, but it won't save. Can someone help me?

Re: Inkscape problem
does the save window open?
also did you try "save as" instead of "save" or the other way around?

Re: Inkscape problem
I tried everything suggested, and I ended up having to restart and lose it. Thanks for the help, though.

Re: Inkscape problem
since this problem is solved, or well, lets just say not up to date anymore...
I can help out with a new one... I can 't find any option that allowes me to chance the standard settings of the drawing tools. I need to increase the hand drawed lines from 1,000 to 2,000, but I dunno how to do it BEFOR I draw something, i can only do it after I'm done with drawing : /possible Avatars

Re: Inkscape problem
If I understand you correctly:
- File/Inkscape Preferences (Shift+Ctrl+P) or just doubleclick the tool in question.
- Pen/Pencil, set it to 'last used style'
Draw a line, set it's thickness and all lines after that will use that same setting. There might be a more elegant solution but it works.
I myself prefer setting thickness later after fine-tuning.Spoiler

Re: Inkscape problem
yay, worked, thankys.
yapp, it sure is better to set thickness after the fine tuning, but atm I m just doing LOTS of really simple stuff that doesn t really need fine tuning, and I got a bit annoyed from setting thickness every time I draw something. This will help saving lots of time, lucky me... and next time I will do backup saves from my stuff, so I don't have to start from the scratch again... *hates losing all his prepared comicstuff due to broken hard drive*possible Avatars
