Getting back to the boards from a profile

This is an interaction between the boards and the website in general.

I've been hit by this a couple of times.

I'm reading the message boards.
I look at a profile - mine or somebody else's.
I'm done, and I'm not sure how to return to where I was.
No problem. I'll just click on the "Post" link on the sidebar to the left.
Except...it doesn't work. Even though I'm looking at a profile, I am deemed to be in the "boards" and it doesn't move me.

What I'd like is for that link to take me to the top level index of the message boards.

And/or have some obvious way to get back to the post I was reading before I hit the link to take me to the "profile" of the poster I was interested in.

Maybe it's just a case of education. I don't know how to do that, and the things I tried either didn't work or screwed me up.

Click on the home button at the top it will take you to the main index.

Yeah, the Home link at the top of the page is your best bet, it's what I use.
