Actually, I think the problem is the hardware. My bandwidth host strongarmed me into buying one of his surplus systems (which, technically speaking, should have been an upgrade), but I think the machine has some real problems. I'm still a big fan of the operating system for many uses.

In my old job we worked with Unix and Linux. Every site that bought Linux because it was cheaper.....paid for it in down time and stuff not working. Unix is much more stable....it's been around for over 35 years.....and costs a lot of money now to get a license from Caldera (SCO)!
