Skull has no bandages. There are some in the west apartment. The rest of his turn stands.

*Note: When you do reach some bandages, applying them will take 15 turns - you roll dice to speed this up.

That was allowed (hell i was biting my tongue not to encourage it!), but you were not in attendance so i dragged your character. I'm flexible where drags are concerned so if you're set against that choice of actions i'll reverse it and say you kept hidden. That saves you some ammo, but leaves one more Rada alive. They still withdraw regardless.

*Edit: Ah, hell. You and he hit the same target. Nevermind, you just save ammo.

((Yeah, I'm going to definitely stand by it!! I just didn't want to say anything, I mean really - "Box-Top twiddles thumbs, and plays tic-tac-toe on the wall. Sometimes on the boxes that he gets his name from, well he writes short poetry on those while he waits for the next wave of enemies to come." Haha, actually that'd be an awesome thing to do - you know what, at one point he is gonna be hiding behind some boxes and he will write poetry on them while waiting for the enemy!!)

Box-Top twiddles his thumbs this round, getting a +1 bonus to his ammunition save.

There is a throaty diesel growl and a squeel of metal from the north, something's happening. Rada come running into view again, one after another... two, four, seven... and then you see it. It takes a few seconds as it emerges into view. Big and metal and noisey, menacing and slow, the tank crawls into view from the main road. Metal screeches as it slowly brings itself around the corner to enter the street and the Rada infantry run forward jumping over picket and low stone fences to get ahead of the tank and check buildings.

You can fire on the infantry easily enough. D12 for the ones running in the street, no shot on the ones hopping over low stone walls to the right for those on ground floor (D12 if you're on a higher floor), D20 against running over and past picket fences on the left for those still on the east side of the street. Shooting is never compulsory; you can watch, hide or take other actions.

The educated (and those who follow image links) may notice that's a mark IV. The tank you're up against is very similar to a Mark IV female.

Perfect. Fangs reenters the house careful not to be seen, runs up the stairs and hides crouching with a view on the staircase on the second floor, aiming and shooting at enemy soldiers who might come up here, hopefully catching them by surprise.

    Bayonets
    Spoiler
    Show

Bayonets are great. They count as decent melee weapons and cancel out an opponent's bonus for charging in melee. Best of all you can go from shooting, to melee, to shooting again with no mucking around.

They have two problems though. One is you can't shoot as straight with them on at targets >100m away, the other is they don't work well in confined spaces. If you get tackled and are wrestling on the ground don't expect much help from your bayonet - unless you detach it and use it like a longknife.

Bayonets are assumed to be off. If you plan to use one, Fix Bayonet takes one turn.

((OK. PM if i have mistaken your details and i'll edit. On with the show...))

Skull hits and wounds a Rada, the fellow keeps goin. With infantry now over the fences and in front yards of apartments the tank comes about and halts, the squeeling metal goes silent... it doesn't fire. It just sits there growling while infantry clear buildings. Something is shouted, the left group (3 rada) hop over a picket fence to advance south toward you while the right (4 rada) hold up and cover behind a low stone wall.

Left group in moving toward you hardly count as moving. From the 2nd floor they're a D8. From the ground floor they are obscured by all the picket fences between apartment yards & the odd bush or tree, making a D10. The right group are hard too, useing that wall - no cheap brick on that one it's actual rock, very unusual. D20 shots from ground floor, D10 from second.

I've often thought the same. That's on the backburner for now, this area's not really that complicated... but i will say a skilled cartoonest would make a great GM!

*Yard is nearly = meter, i use both words to mean one meter just to break up the language.

It's a street some 200m long, 20 yards wide. There's apartments of 2-3 stories all the way along joined so they resemble one building, seperated by walls inside them. You started in the middle. A wrecked car is 20 yards north of that on the road, an abandoned wagon 30 yards south. About 50 yards south of start is a big crater, apartment on west side of that is rubble, apartment on east side of that is bullet-ridden. Nobody went down and looked there so you don't know any more about it. Hint, hint.

All apartments have 10m of front yard facing the street. There is picket fence before the road with most of these, right up the end there's one that has stone wall instead about 1m high. Yards are mostly dirt & dead grass, a handful of scraggly trees and feeble bushes are on this street.

Not really, but the fences are low picket fences - not a sturdy fortification, more like courtesy fences to keep pets in line. You can easily kick them over or try and jump them as you go. This does involve entering line of sight with the Rada outside.

Ok, these guys are going to keep advancing and checking houses until they have a reason to do otherwise. Are you guys going to hold fire for a while? What until? Say 50 yards, 20 yards, when they're knocking on the door? Or shooting now? It'll save an awful lot of fairly dull turns if i know at what point you'll interrupt them.
