Yeah, that was her original outfit design.

It may return in a slightly altered version though, I don't plan to give characters monotone outfits throughout the comic.

Oh no, you can't really tell from my DA which characters will appear in the comic or not, a lot of them are either from different story [or game] ideas.

Heck, most of the characters posted on my deviantart who are actually the same graphic style won't appear; because they're part of a scrapped storyline idea I had before, but removed because it didn't fit with the overal idea of how the comic should work.

Yep. Especially these evolutions of old pokemon they're adding. How the hell do you figure out how to evolve them without looking online or buying a guide? I mean, most of them are all, Give it this item to hold, go near this stone, and level them up in the grass...

I know, the biggest problem I have with the new generation of pokemon games is a) that all the pokemon look fake to me, they are just random variation of earlier tried concepts. Just look at the that electric pikachu squirrel. It looks ugly. and b) that, just like you said, the games now too much depend on online guides.

I've been doing a little freelance pixelwork the last year or so, but I find art a fun and relaxing hobby; adding stress or strict deadlines to it kinda ruins what makes me enjoy it.

I've been doing it for roughly 9 years, I'd be a disgrace to my own ambitions if I couldn't get good at something I've been doing for 10 years.

I'm actually studying to be a Biology teacher, I wouldn't mind pixelart as a more casual side job; but I wouldn't want to do it to pay he bills.
