Actually, I should describe it.

There are people packed like sardines for twenty feet, making it impossible to escape. Only 10 feet to the left, the crowd ends, but so does the dock, with a ten foot drop to the ocean.

The civillians step aside to let you through. You run down the path, only to notice that the other guard is waiting for you at the end. He points an arrow from a longbow right at your forehead.
