Re: 4E Teroth IC
Fatima
After the kobold's failed lunge, Fatima's head snapped in the direction of the fireball. "One for each of us," she said confidently to her companions.
With finger aglow she quickly formed a symbol with her hand, marking the kobold in front of her with her aegis. Drawing her longsword out with a quick motion she strikes at the kobold before her with the force of thunder.
"Surrender!"

Nachan
"Look, this is already a dreary enough day... don't make it worse." Nachan throws back his hood to sharpen his senses, and approaches the creature in front of him, slipping into the shadows of the night. From the haze he invokes the powers from the heavens above, cursing the unfortunate creature, and beckoning a beam of starlight down upon it.

Re: 4E Teroth IC
Buldr, Shard, and Fatima
Spoiler
Since it was a missed attack, I'm just going to wait until Buldr and Shard post their actions. No one has taken any damage, and Fatima has marked #1. That is all the changes that have happened for round 1.
Reed and Nachan
Spoiler
The power from above strikes the kobold dead where he stands. However, at that moment, his allies spring from their hiding places. A heavily armed kobold springs from rocks near Nachan and strikes at the warlock in the mists. He misses. Another kobold emerges from the rocks and attack Reed, dealing missing with his spear.

Note: I haven't played with many warlocks, so the way I interpreted concealment was that the kobold could kind of see Nachan, so he just took the penalty. If I'm wrong, tell me.
Also, it is Reed's turn now.

Spoiler
Reed's swing misses wildly, almost hurting Nachan in the process. After he swings, the kobold that had been lurking by the rock charges out and attempts to spear Reed, but his stab goes wide. He is followed by yet another heavily armored kobold who also takes a swing at Reed, missing the halfling.

Fatima's attack misses once again, as if the lightning is too random for her to control. Buldr's first ray goes wide of the kobold before him, but his second one hits the kobold in the chest, freezing him in place(13 damage). Buldr, Shard, and Fatima
Spoiler
Fatima finally hits the annoying kobold in front of her. The creature winces at the pain, but continues to fight on (14 damage). Buldr swings his warhammer at the kobold before him, and there is a sickening crunch when the blow lands(12 damage). Returning to assist his allies, Shard hits yet again with his greataxe, almost severing one of the arms from the kobold. By now that kobold looks on the brink of death, as if another well placed hit could easily kill him. However, he continues to fight, striking at the mage one last time in desperation, slicing deeply in the dwarf(10 damage and 5 ongoing damage(save ends)). The other kobold continues the fight, trying to wound the Genasi slight more than last time and ends up giving the Genasi a large scratch(5 damage).

Re: 4E Teroth IC
Reed (wont have a chance to post for several hours, figure I'll post my action now)
With yet another miss, Reeds eyes narrow, and a grim scowl haunts his face. I may have not struck you yet wretched creature, he says to the armored leader. But when I do, and my fine sword cuts deep into your accursed flesh, let it be known that your death will be nothing short of brutally agonizing and anything but short!
With that Reed attempts to make an example and brutally lunges at one of his adjacent weaker foes, with a yell. I promise you yet again RAT! You will not win!
Spoiler@Terraspaz: Because of my Inspiring presence, you regain 5 hit points after that spent action point.
Standard action: Bastion of Defense (I attack either M1 or M4, whoever is more hurt. If both of them are dead, then I take a strike at M3).
Attack: [roll0]
Damage: [roll1] and Nachan gains a +1 to defenses for the rest of the encounter.
Effect (on a hit or a miss): Both Nachan and Reed get 8 temporary hitpoints.
If that attack hits, then reed spends an action point to enforce the intimidation on the armored kobald (probably wont work, but I figure that their will defense should be low enough to offset that +10 they get for being hostile, to at least give me a chance)
Standard action: Intimidate to get the armored kobald to surrender. [roll2] vs. Will defense + 10.
Edit/ooc:? Well thats odd. I did preview my post to check on the format before posting, and thats how it came up there too. I guess you can't do that on these boards? i'll repost rolls below.Last edited by Myatar_Panwar; 2008-12-16 at 01:54 AM.

The lightly armed kobold in the darkness takes more damage from the darkness and moves to escape the darkness(10 damage). Reed calls out support to Nachan and then retaliates against the kobold, his blade piercing the armor dealing a grievous wound (18 damage). The heavily armed kobold within the darkness moves out of it but not before taking damage(10 damage). As he leaves the darkness he spots the halfling near him and attacks(6 damage, but just negates temporary hit points).
