You slowly open open your eyes and see a beautiful young halfling woman kneeling over you. Her lips are moving but you can't understand what she is saying. There is a cold sensation around your body. She fades away as you slip back into unconciousness...
You wake up again. You are laying in a bed in a room you have never seen before. You are no longer cold. The woman is laying in the bed with you, firmly grabbing your hand with both of her's. She is asleep.

Sarach
It is a wonderful winter day in Ramrir. The snow has fallen, painting the city with a lovely white blanket. Around you is the usual hubbub of the market place. Vendors are shouting out all the wonderfly cheap items they are selling, children are running amuck throwing snowballs at eachother. One such child comes up to you. His clothes are ragged and his face is bruised. "Do you have some cheese?" he says, looking hopeful.

Tomar
The two city guards holding to the ground clearly do not care about your comfort. The third one pointing his sword at you says, "This is the fifth time you have been caught stealing Tomar. You know what that means, don't you." Of the guards kicks you and laughs.

Jhaelven
Your room is dark. Very dark. The maid is afraid to enter it now, after the last one dissappeared. No one could ever prove that you were the one who killed her, but they suspect. There is a knock on your door. Atimid female voice calls out, "M-Mister Doam?" pronouncing your name wrong.

"I don't suppose you'd let me go with a beating like the last few times?"

The Captain laughs "No, I'm afriad not. This means that you are going to spend the next two years in prison." He and the others tie up your hands and feet and haul you into a nearby wagon. They start going to the nearest prison.

Tormar Begins pulling hard on the ropes and trying to wiggle free from them.

The bonds twist and snap as you wriggle. Finally they snap off. The guard next to you shouts."He's escaping!" The other men jump off the wagonand grab you again.

Merry sits on the bed, and begins to look around. Is there anything noteworthy in the room? Is his backpack or gear there, perhaps? Is he fully clothed? If not, are his clothes anywhere around the room?

Your clothes are in the corner of the room. They are not on you however. You are wearing somebody elses pants that are a little loose. You have no shirt on. Your sudden movement wakes the woman next to you. She rubs her eyes. "Good morning Sunshine, I was beginning to think you would never wake up. Do you remember what happened?"

She smiles at the flattery. "You were in a wagon that crashed. You fell out and hit your head." She rubs your head gingerly and stops on a large bump at the top. "I had a strong looking dwarf carry you here and I waited for you to wake up. After a few hours I fell asleep. And now we are here. What is your name?"

"The name is Meriadoc, ma'am, but friends and beautiful women call me Merry. And your name would be?"

She slides her hands down your neck and around your shoulders "Ivy. Would you like some tea?"

[Xapi]

"No, please, don't go anywhere. I'd like to see if I can get up, would you mind helping me stand?"

Ivy slips your arm over her slender shoulders and helps you get up. You can stand with no problems.

Merry fakes a dizziness and holds on to Ivy, his face landing in her low neck. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I hate to be a burden, but it seems I should stay in bed for a little while longer"

Tormar roars with a furious rage and attempts to throw the man off of him, he punctuates this with a powerful punch to the gut.

The guard wrestles out of your grasp. All three of them draw their swords. Four more across the street come to assist them. The captain says "This is your last chance, stand down or die."

I'd also like to know if Merry was carrying his equipment at the time of the accident. If he was, or if he doesn't remember, he'll be looking for that too.

Your equipment is not in the room. There is a large window that looks out onto the street with the drapes pulled in. Ivy does not appear to be rich, but it's obvious that she makes effort to keep her home looking nice. The furniture is all clean and the house smells like lilac.

Merry will simply wait for Ivy to return then.

Over an hour goes by. Finally Ivy returns. With her is a human. "Hello. My name is Wesley Branner. I am a priest at the Temple of Pelor. Ivy here wanted me to have a look at you."

Seeing himself unarmed and helpless, Tormor decides to flee the gaurds. He sprints as fast as he can in a side alley in an attempt to avoid them.

You wake up staring at the cieling of a small cell. Your entire body is in pain. It is likely that the guards beat you even after you passed out. You hear hear a throaty chuckle coming from the cell next to you. "Oh Tormor, what would your mother think of you?" The man looks familiar, but you can't remember who he is.

Jhaelven sits on his bead, contemplating for a moment, before answering the maid. Come in, please. He says, as he takes his rapier and begins sharpening the edge.

"I think she'd be proud, prison at such a young age... I think I might have even made a family record. Also, can you tell me where we are? I lost track of time a bit when I 'handed myself over' to the gaurds"

Merry sat on the edge of the bed, and smiled at them. "Ivy, you shouldn't have. I am feeling quite better after a little more rest. Of course, since you came here, Father Branner, feel free to look."

At some point during the examination (if there is one) Merry will casually say: "I'm rather new in to the city, is there only one Temple of Pelor? Where is it located?"
