Ranged Legerdemain: An arcane trickster can perform one of the following class skills at a range of 30 feet: Disable Device, Open Lock, or Sleight of Hand. Working at a distance increases the normal skill check DC by 5, and an arcane trickster cannot take 10 on this check. Any object to be manipulated must weigh 5 pounds or less.

An arcane trickster can use ranged legerdemain once per day initially, twice per day upon attaining 5th level, and three times per day at 9th level or higher. He can make only one ranged legerdemain skill check each day, and only if he has at least 1 rank in the skill being used.

So what - trickster can make a ragned ledgerdemain 3 times per day but only one times per day at 9th level. What kind of silliness is this. Or is the text to be understood as this - trickster can make 3 ranged legerdemains per day but each of them must be used for different skills? Seems like a useless nerf. Also I would guess that if you got the ability to move stuff from afar and have the skill ranks to pick lock, disable device what not you should be able to do it anyway. So this entire feature is worse than having a hand of the mage on my neck. ( or a few mage hands memorized)

Maybe it means they all have to be the same skill, using the same check?
