Midnight in full color is too adorable for words "squeee".

As for the negative comments; Some ponies are always going to get their saddles up in a bunch over the more mature fan creations (despite how tastefully you handled it all). They can't grasp the concept of being able to appreciate the show on it's own level while at the same time hungering for more content within that universe.

The fact that this content is largely produced by adults, for adults (though many fics I've read I think would be fine for slightly older children) should give no pony any surprise that it then contains themes more suited to an adult audience.

I for one don't particularly like the overly anthropomorphic and otherwise hardcore content that's come about (this is the internet afterall),so I just ignore the stuff I don't like and engage with the content I do like, in short;

You're absolutely right, of course, what can I say, I guess I'm cranky at 7 AM. I'm just honestly touched how much effort Inkwell put into this artwork, so to brush it off and insult him like that like that got me a little pissy. I don't even really care about myself, that sort of insult doesn't hurt me personally.

But you're right. I'll be sure to pass yours and Lixes comments onto the artist.

Also, here's a request from Alterform, since we're trying to get to page 50 as fast as possible now.

Oh, wow, Pony Week already. And we're still behind on ponytar requests in the arts and crafts thread. Dunno if we'll make it through them all in time.

Well, anyways, time to start collecting ponies for the great big banner. Here's what I want:

Send an email to [email protected]. The subject line should include the word "Pony" somewhere.

Include as attachments as many ponytars as you can. I want high-resolution versions (at least 500 pixels on one dimension), or better yet the original svg file. Ask your artist before sending to me; they might have the svg laying around and we prevent a lot of double submissions. Send multiple emails or compress the files if you have to; I'd rather sort through a bunch of emails than go through file-hosting sites if at all possible.

With any luck I'll be able to get it put together within a few days of the end of the theme week.
