Inezach takes another shot at the spear-orc, moving to the side if necessary to get a clear shot. "Good target practice," He mutters. "Annoying circumstances, though."

Niobe shouts out of pain: "Aahh!"

"How dare you, orc! I am a force of good! How dare you attack me!"[/COLOR]

She stries to strike again: attack (1d20)[3] damage (1d8)[3]

Inezach shoots but fires wide of the target.

Grengar quickly fires two arrows at the unarmed orc which stick into its chest.

The wolf charges the unarmed orc and bites it in the leg, it falls and its eyes roll up in its head.

The spear orc waves its hand and mumbles and a dark cloud spread from his form, engulfing Arahi and Niobe but leaving the others watching. Arahi and Niobe hear the orc start to move away from the combat and swing their weapons at him. Niobe feels her sword make contact. As the orc moves away the darkness moves with it, meaning Niobe and Arahi are now back in the light.

At this point I'm going to allow Niobe and Gorilaphus to change their actions since the situation has changed.

Gorilaphus backs away slowly from the dark cloud. Simply muttering "Intresting."

The orc moves off into the distance.

You stand, tired from the fight, with 3 bloodied corpses before you. The wolf starts to chew on the head of one of the archers.

Gorilaphus mutters to himself, "lets see what we can find" and starts searching the two orcs that the wolf isn't eating.

Other than the weapons the only item of any real value you find is a pouch at the sword-orc's belt containing 30Gp and 12Sp.

Inezach keeps his bow ready, in case of a two-stage ambush. It's something he himself would do.

"Is anyone hurt?"

Gorilaphus moves back to his original position, he replies to Inezach on the way "No but thanks for asking, your self?"

[Iwilsmashyou]

Grengar grins menacingly and says, " The only things hurt here are the orcs. They tried to use their powers on me and only left a scratch on my leg. Wasn't that fun.

[Devixer]

Arahi puts away both of his weapons. "I have no injuries of note. We should continue. We've lost enough time."

[Devmaar]

You continue along the road. As the sun gets lower in the sky you can see the watchtower you were told about off to your left. It stand atop a hill which you assume must be blocking your view of the two forests.

[Iwilsmashyou]

Waiting for everyone to respond Grengar gets restless and says, " So were go in."

[Ichneumon]

Niobe follows Grengar inside, with he head held up high, she is ready for what mysteries and adventures the gods will lay on her path.

Gorilaphus just walks in, talking to no one. He silently signals to his eagle.

"Noticed any thing suspicious about Almond?"

Arahi walks in beside Niobe, spear in his left hand, pointing down. He finds himself hoping that his actions will help some force of benevolence.

Inezach follows Arahi and Niobe inside, bow in hand, pointing down. He doesn't want to be surprised by hostiles, but he doesn't want to aggravate anyone, either.

[Devmaar]

The room is empty and looks like it has been for some time. There is a layer of dust on the floor and the bodies of flies and other insects scattered across the floor.

A double door is set into the opposite wall. There is a weapon rack set on either side of it.

On the left hand wall is a lever while by the right hand wall a chain hangs down through the ceiling.

The eagle hasn't seen anything

"Hmmm something doesn't feel right here, anybody want to pull the chain, the other things in this room seem too predictable." but what he means is let me go outside while you kill youself trying to get somewhere else.

"Touching anything is likely to be a very bad idea right now. I don't know mechanical traps very well, but these items seem suspect."

Gorilaphus just stands and observes the other two talking. He leans against a wall trying to decide what to do.

If were not going to have anybody do anything i may have to just do this myself, if so wish me luck. Tell me what to do I'm probably going to be the only person that could survive a trap."

says Grengar in a confident voice.

Inezach shrugs. "Be careful, I suppose. Best advice I've got."
