If Fferrir cares, he shows no response. In fact, he's already a half block away, so it's highly unlikely he even heard. It's also unlikely he'd fall for such a simple ploy, his twenty or so years of experience on the battlegrounds have taught him to believe no boasts until they are proved.

"Well that's very kind." Cornelia says matter-of-factly. She likely picks the biggest, weirdest flowers available, which prove to be some sunflowers coupled with several other varieties of queer alien plants. "This one says et needs to be watered wit' sugar water. Huh."

"I think I can do that. And I won't be late this time around," Boris jokes. When she asks whether he'll pay or not, he responds by pulling a brown, leather wallet from his back pocket. "Sure, I have enough to pay." He withdraws a mixture of paper money and coins.

"No, they were just... weird. And they couldn't speak English." Becca walks along at a quick pace. "It just makes things easier when you can talk to people and they don't have a creepy stare."

"Paper money always makes me smile." Cornelia says amusedly, for some reason. The gunslinger likely waits for the cashier to accept Boris's cash, likely accepting just about anything, before she gathers up the seed packets again. "'Ere we are. Let's git over to the tailor."

Boris gives Cornelia a curious look. "Can I ask why?" The cashier accepts his rubles, probably having accepted weirder payments in the past (like chickens.) He heads toward the door, wanting to get to the next shop quickly.

"I dunno. Jus' sorta funny. Y'know, cuz it's paper." Cornelia smiles to herself, hopping back up on George and offering a hand to Boris.

With that, they likely ride off in search of some new clothes. Unfortunately, Cornelia only looks for actual tailors, so Boris might want to point out a clothes store for her. Seems the concept is new to the gunslinger.

"Better than the plastic that some people use as money, I would say," Boris says as he gets back on George with Cornelia's help. It isn't long before Boris sees a clothing store, and he points it out to Cornelia. "I think we can stop here."

"What's plastic?" Cornelia asks as they clippity-clop along at cruising speed, glancing over her shoulder. Then Boris points out an actual store. "What, do they jus' sell stuff at random? How d'ye tell if anything fits?" Still, she brings George to a stop, looking at Boris skeptically as she begins to dismount.

Boris looks somewhat surprised. "Plastic's a type of material that's used for a lot of different purposes." He dismounts from the horse, saying, "They usually let you try on what you want to buy, to see if it fits."

Assuming everything goes according to plan, Maggy will stitch up Vincent's skull and the flesh on top of it, offer Dipsnig a smile, and step back from his hopefully triumphant mission to cure Vincent of his mental complications.
