Yuan is not fast enough to double the bandit. He cannot singlehandedly take him out in one turn for that reason.

After finishing off the thief with an expertly thrown knife, Byron ducked the massive axe and returned fire before diving for cover into the nearby forest. He popped out just long enough to surprise the wounded Myrmidon, aiming to finish him off with a quick strike.

Myrmidon HP is incorrect.
Also, how did these Bandits get fast enough that I can't double them?
Gerard moves due east to spike Myrmidon 3, then Roan moves to where Gerard was and smashes into Bandit 3 with his Steel Sword, leaving him open for Yuan to move in to L7 and laser him dead.
Kat should move into the trees to the west, then equip her crossbow. Francis moves to K10 and uses Physic to get her back to full.
Greg should skirmish the Archer, swooping in to N2 and then retreating to O1.
This should avoid any of the squishies getting poked this round...

And the Bandits are essentially Pirates by another name and with a different favored terrain, so that might have something to do with it. (I've gotten a bit lazy with the positioning... Wasn't nearly as important after I started adding the numbers to the map itself... Before that you had to look them up based on positions, now you know which Soldier is Soldier 1 and which one is Soldier 7 with a single glance.

(If Katleia's going to go to N13, and Francis is just gonna heal her, why not have her take out her bow and kill the stupid Crossbow archer? With just an Iron Bow she kills him with a double attack, with over 100% hit chance. He won't kill on the return, and Francis heals Katleia for 25 HP, which is more than the damage she'll have after taking a crossbow bolt to the face. May as well have Katleia finish the guy if she's gonna move to that space and get healed after moving anyways, right?)

I'd prefer to give Aran some more time in the front as he's lagging a bit in experience, but other than that I agree. So for changes I suggest: Aran finishes the merc with his iron lance moves to W18. Kain moves to W17, trades with Aran to equip his javelin and attacks pirate 2. If the other pirate misses Lillian moves right and heals Anselm, if pirate 2 hits Lillian moves to V19 and heals Kain. Originally Posted by Reverent-One

((Eesh, I just realized there's a possibility that Byron gets killed in this enemy phase... The Myrmidon has a 40% chance to do 15 damage and Bandit 5 has a 42% chance to do 16 damage.
It may not affect the outcome depending on the sorting of the "AI," but might it be safer to put Yuan at L9 instead of L7 because his Vantage guarantees that he kills Myrmidon 3 before he even gets attacked if we're lucky enough that he goes for Yuan?

(Would this be a good time to mention I really haven't paid enough attention to the way village destroying AI behaves so for my own purposes have decided if they can immediatly take some action... Such as attacking something... They will prioritize it over a more long term action... Such as destroying a village three turns down the line?
It seems like this would be a good time to mention that.)
