I think Sandy would actually be tied with Blaze for rank. His time in the military was rife with misfortune, and he never got promoted. If he wasn't engineer, I would put him at lowest spot, but that job is kind of important.

I was just going off the time he spent in the actual military. If we're going off of promotions after joining the crew, then first sergeant makes sense. You also have to consider that he hasn't even been on the crew for a year, and joined as a private.

It's occurring to me that Gear and Silverpine only saw the very beginnings of the Rainbow/Sandy stuff, and will walk in on the end result when they go to check on him. I'm curious to see that particular reaction.

Conveniently, Sandy's currently conked out on pain meds, so just assume that he's unable to be woken up until I get back. I do give free reign for:

-giving him non-sequitur dialogue if somepony tries to talk with him
-for Orzel, appropriate subconscious responses to Rainbow (i.e. loosely holding her hoof if she holds his, smiling at nuzzlings, adorable things like that)

I don't know if that will come up, but just thought I'd leave it there just in case.
