I've got no problem with the videos I just find it hilarious that after such a short clip they are already so outspoken against it. I think reactions would have been better if they showed an entire episode to them. The bronies react was the funnier of the two in my opinion because they shot down every argument that the teens made.

That might be one of the big issues. Pony fans are famous for coming on a bit too strong with support and criticism against. This makes the react to videos kind of an amusing-ish sideshow to our true, effective work.

Ehhh its to me almost like hitting the broad side of the barn. Sure you did it but was it really that hard?

The best part of either is that even the opening, which is probably only exceeded by the extended opening in being even close to typically girly kids show, manages to convert about 1.5 people out of 10(?) on Teen React. Okay and the dead pan from the Maniliest Brony about his manliness.

Well, it's pretty clearly a hit piece. Especially if they only showed the teens the theme song and asked them to evaluate the entire show based on just that. But I also think a lot of bronies are just a wee bit defensive. Maybe it's justified by how weird it seems for adults to like it, but I can understand the tendency to want to jump in with "wait! It's actually good!" that was denied to them in this case. Or maybe I'm just projecting my own opinions and feelings.

I hear this a lot in other places, but usually it's in threads that are devoted to the show or whatever the latest spin off/fan project/mash up has been posted to YouTube. Are there still bronies wandering into random threads and posting pony content at the drop of a hat, or have haters blown it out of proportion? Or both?

Well, I didn't pick up the show until May of last year, after the first season had finished running. I had seen mostly the mash ups, and I finally checked it out due entirely to morbid curiosity when I found myself with a totally free weekend. I remember that Ponycraft 2 was a major factor in my finally deciding that this show was worth looking into. I would say it took a half dozen episodes before I was totally locked in, I was fairly skeptical for the first several episodes of season 1. So I guess my initial reaction was "huh, well, I guess this isn't THAT bad." Then I snowballed from there into total ponysanity by the time I finished the first season.

Most of my thoughts were along the lines of "Why in the nine hells was there a proper hydra in My Little Pony?!" with a touch of "Huh, this feels almost like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Powerpuff Girls. Interesting..." followed by "Further investigation is required! *Fires up Episode 1*"

He was a villain in a show aimed at ten year old girls. He was silly, mean, and a powerful enough jerk to need to be locked away. And... I think that covers him, pretty much!

I liked the episode. I agree that Luna wasn't great, but her character was pretty funny. Fluttershy was excellent though. I'm really curious about that 7/9 that popped up at the end. If those were supposed to be Pinkie's parents, what are the remaining two teleports?

I can confirm this as well, having just picked up a Pinkie Pie toy while stopping at McDonalds on the way home to my parents house today (the woman at the register didn't even bat an eye). I am, however, displeased, that her cutie mark only has a single blue balloon rather than the proper blue, blue, yellow.

The title of this thread originally caught my eye, but let me just say, "Ponytariat" in the above comic nearly had me on the floor, I was laughing so hard. Plus, after watching a few episodes of this, I'm afraid I'm going to Freudian slip and refer to a room as "everypony" instead of "everybody." So thanks giantitp pony fans for that
