She nods, "I thought so. Maybe Raphael...a?" The woman suggests with one eye closed as if trying to squeeze in the name somewhere. "I'm not sure I want the same name as an true angel anyway. I no longer deserve that honor."

"In that case, what if I gave you a name?" Michael says, "Something human."

The woman blinks in surprise and actually seems to blush slightly. "Um, I guess you could. You're probably better at names then me anyway."

"What about Shina? It means virtue. Something to strive for," Michael says.

"Shina?" She says as if tasting the name in her mouth. "...thanks. Again." The descended angels says with a small smile. "You're a good man Michael, you walk the right path and will be rewarded in this life or the next. I just wish I could pay you back somehow."

It will be tucked away in a little pocket somewhere and Bobbie will dance a bit away from Arel.

"Oooooh well. If Arel likes 'em, guess they gotta stay huh?"
The chipper woman doesn't really seem too fussed about it.

Arel rubs her arm. Bobbie's chipper attitude is not particularly infectious. She's... not sure what to say at the moment, so she just stays silent. Awkwardly silent.

Grantz bursts out his scan ability going in a 1000 meter radius, not caring what it hit. Since he is using this recklessly his companions may feel a blaring headache. If it wasn't obvious he was looking for the boss of Arkham street hospital.

Mia took one for herself but neglected to take one for MDM so he picked one for her. She and MDM both got blue. Red took one and got red Grantz took one and got blue.

That was a terrible idea.

As soon as Grantz reaches out with his mind a trio of rather horrific things launch themselves at him quite literally out of nowhere.

What sort of things you ask?

WELL!

They look like human torsos. Though wrinkled and leathery. Arms have become jagged claws with eyes in the palms. Their abdomens are ripped open and from their spines sprout a pair of lashing tentacles. The whole top of their head is missing, leaving only a yawning chasm ringing with teeth. A third tentacle grows from the middle of their chest.

The creatures aim to tackle Grantz and maul him to death.

"Look out!" Winifred yells!

Irene starts wondering if Sophie just talks. Granted that probably makes her most fitted for her GLoG position, but it sure isn't helping right now.

Still Irene can maybe buy just a bit more time for her. Slow float, slow float, like an old lady ghost.

Sophie backs away a bit to get a running start, then dashes forward and tries to tackle whoever it is that's hiding in the dark.

The robot follows Irene, not pushing her as long as she continues forward.

Sophie runs after the shadowy person, intending to tackle him as he runs. He gets to the corner, and goes around it. If she continues around the corner, she very likely could catch up and tackle the man. Is that what she does?

I believe so. Judy says, starting to carry Lilliane toward the hospital. I think I was starting to frequent GLoG less and less at the time.

Pearl clings to Mikani. Do you trust her? she asks, frightened.

"I do," Mikani tells Pearl in an encouraging tone, looking into her friend's eyes. "But if you want me to, I'll stay with you."

There's a faint twinkle from somewhere on her person, and she exuberantly thrusts a handful of coins at the lady.

Then immediately whirls around to the other two, failing to miss a single beat as she bounces from one foot to the other, twirling back around the room closer to Arel.
Probably to try to pull her to her feet.
"You guys~! Need to lighten up. Let's go do something fun!"

She gives up on sitting upright and lies back down.
Easier for her that way.
She seems to try to say something, but it's mostly murmuring.

They will see a long hallway bereft of any obstacles. The path is eerily neat as if screaming 'its a trap!'. That happens to be true as there are invisible lasers that if unnoticed will trigger an intruder alert. Anyone with trap sense?

The Duo will have no sight problems as there seems to be the artificial light guiding the way. This path also has hidden lasers that will trigger an intruder alert if stepped through. Hope Mark has tech with him or powder maybe?

Irene continues forward, but tries to concentrate on her soul radar to get a good idea of this person's location. Now that she's not in the market, it might work.

Before they start through the tunnel, Mark motions to Red to stop as a small beeping comes from one of his coat pockets.
Security systems. Give me a moment.
He fishes around in his pocket and pulls out a small metal rod. Clicking a button, the end of the rod, which looks like some advanced jiggery-pokery occurred, begins to glow orange and hum. Mark sweeps it around, looking for power lines in the walls.

(sonic technology. If you've ever seen the show Dr. Who, Mark is the clone of a time lord, so a lot of his tech is from there)

"Snyyuuuu <You need to get warmed up.>" Kind of stating the obvious with that one Kashi. But how to go about it in a responsible manner?

"Snnyu? <Want a hug? I'm pretty warm right now.>" Mostly thanks to all that fire he was putting out earlier.

"We probably could have beaten it, but it took us by surprise," Freddie admits. Stupid surprising Troll! "And getting warmed up is probably a good idea..."

He'll glance over at his currently shaky friend.

"Hey Cat? If you feel inclined to lean against Kashi for a bit he'll warm you up in a hurry."

"We've been thwarting the plans of a powerful Warlock lately. Or at least I assume he's a Warlock. He probably sent that Troll to try to put an end to our meddling."

She slowly looks a bit better.
"I'm so tired, healing your inside takes up a lot of energy"

Oh dear... Looks like the poor thing has been claimed by a bit of deadtime jelly. Nephea turned her nose up at the eldritch bit of unspace before sliding a bit away from that corner of her stall. Didn't want to get any of that stuff on her if she could help it. "Shame though.. Hopefully she snaps out of it before I have to pack up." she muttered to herself.

Rather suddenly, though, she pointed out a person in the crowd, calling out "Hey! You there! Yes you! Come on over!"

Who was she speaking to?

Well, obviously it would be the first person who answers the call.

Thwarting a warlock? Sounds pretty scary. Kashi snuggles up to Cat anyway, not afraid of potential warlockery based attacks.

Okay, maybe he's a little afraid. Not enough that he'd just fly away while Cat is still shivering and weak though.

"Snnyuu. <That's pretty brave of you I guess. I was just going to the mall to see if there's an easier way to trade money for food, only, so like, the food never ran out and I could eat a whole bunch.>" He isn't really sure how to go about this monumental task, but it's been a dream of his ever since forever now.

"The mall, huh? Well, I'm sure someone there will be happy to trade your money for food. Though..." Freddie coughs slightly. "I would suggest that you avoid letting people see how you make it. Otherwise someone might try cutting you open to see if there's more inside you."

Cat seems to have recovered, mostly, and stands up.
A bit whoozy, but she manages.
"I think we should get out of here to somewhere safe. I fear that warlock or whatever probably has more minions around here."

And Cat is in no condition to really fight right now..
