Kirk nods for Dena to lean closer (he's sure not going on his tiptoes). "Although the welcoming committee could use some work." He mutters to her. What was he even talking about at first? Unit? Kirk's not sure he wants to know.

Mr. Ritz smiles and nods, the perfect charismatic host. Of course he's missing that arm from the elbow down...but hey, he has excellent teeth. He adjusts his big orange hat and moves to shake the hands of his first customers. Well, it's nice to meet ya! Nice unit Mr. Locke, very nice. If a bit dark for my humble tastes. And you Ms... Sihara? I'm terrible with names, pardon me. So, we got our nice, clean, shiny lobby here. Not too much fun to be had here. Down the left is the actual casino. You'll find about fifty NPC customers hanging about, maybe a few you know. Down the right is our adult theatre, and... And... Wow.

He turns to see the most beautiful woman in the Nexus, and he falters a little. This is... Um, she'd be... I! She's the evenings entertainment... Um, excuse me. He'll move to the woman and speaks. Whatever job you're applying for... You're in. My first challenge is for you to get Mr. Locke over there tipping you extra.

Felandria! Why don't you come out here and show my guests around?

Wow! Mysterious super-attractive Wall maiden didn't even have to say a single word to anyone in the casino club and already she has been hired for any job in the casino that she wants! That's positively sensational and totally rad! Being one of Clarissa and Dave's divine daughters does have its advantages!

"That'll be a piece of cake, boss."

My word! If that isn't one of the sultriest yet simultaneously one of the most angelic feminine voice that has ever graced my ears with its presence! Most mature men and women become good listeners without urging or a second thought and heed her nearly enthralling words whenever she speaks. Her heavenly yet curtainy voice can almost be equated with mental compulsion in that it demands people's attention, though there is no magic woven into it nor is it a supernatural voice at all. She merely has a stunningly beautiful if ordinary voice that is very pleasant to listen to.

As she has already been hired and given her first assignment, the woman takes her leave of Mister Ritz and...

What do we have here? How wonderfully perfect! She hasn't been here for more than a minute so far and already she has spied three hot people she'd hit on whether she was being paid to hit on them or relaxing on her own time. Already this gig is benefiting her! Unfortunately, she can't be in two places at once and she is being paid to shamelessly flirt with Kirk and Dena, so she decides that she'll just have to look Felandria up during her next break.

The mysterious woman shall attempt to approach Kirk and Dena! She checks them both out rather openly before attempting to strike up a conversation.

"My, do you two make a cute pair!"

The mysterious woman surreptitiously glances down and admires the region just below Dena's neckline as she utters this line, though intentionally not surreptitiously enough to keep it from being noticed, possibly.

"Anyway, I'm Khyli and I'll be entertaining you two tonight, apparently. I was hired literally less than a minute ago and nobody has filled me in on the specifics of my job, so I decided that tonight I'll leave the specifics open to interpretation."

Khyli fixes her eyes on Kirk.

"You look like the kind of man who knows the ins and outs of clubs like this. I know that this isn't something that employees usually ask customers for but I was hoping that you both could help me out tonight by allowing me to tag along with and entertain you so that I'll be able to get some hands on experience tonight instead of getting lost and completely confused and generally trying to figure out what exactly I'm meant to be doing without luck? I'd be ever so grateful and in your debt!"

"It could have been worse, we could have been greeted by Magtok." Dena suggests with an amused look at the other drow.

And then a woman approaches them that Dena would start to call a maiden as soon as she started to call Kirk a virgin.

She regards Khyli in the same manner as she regards her, mentally filling her into the lesbian/bisexual category. This could be amusing. "Hi there Khyli." She greets with a wave. "So what exactly are you hired as? Just general entertainment? Or something more specific? I'm afraid Kirky here is only familiar with a very specific kind of entertainment."

A tall men, followed by a female black halfdragon and a man with a long coat, enters the establishment. The tall man wears an armless grey robe, covering his torso and feet. His shoulder seem to grow something like scales, which appear very sharp and head down half his arms. Tatoos , showing off arcane symbols cover his lower arms but his hands appear normal. Some of the scales appear also on his face, mainly on his cheek and where people normaly have eyebrows. His hair is cut short and grey. With the scales in his face he appears a bit angry all the time and makes it harder to get his current feeling.

The tall man looks around, taking note of the unnatural beauty who talks to the drow couple, he searches for the man in charge.

Gladly, sir.

She reaches down to wrap her hands around him, hoist him upwards and carry him into Ritz's office.

If she succeeds, she closes the door behind her and places Butler on the couch.

She sits down Indian style on the floor across from him and shoots him an EXTREMELY intimidating glance.

However the theatre, casino, and lobby are not dimension locked, so that blue thing will probably appear in the lobby. Which ought to confuse the hell out of everybody.

Anyway, old man. No offense, sir. But you look a little old to do this sort of thing. I hope you aren't offended.

Then a robed man and his half-dragon. Mr. Ritz moves over and does his best showy smile. Well hello, and welcome to the Ritzzz Casino & Club! I'm the owner, Ritz Mckane.

He also sends a text slowly on his cell phone. One hand and all. Sorry, business. Okay, what's your name's?

The text is to the biggest gangster hiding out in the room outside of the office. He's wearing a large 1920's suit and hat, and has one of those special to,my guns at his side. He's allowed to walk into Mr. Ritz's Office. This man is called Knuckles. He walks in and moves to where Butler might be. Sho, what's ya real name, kiddo?

It's probably more confusing when a red-headed tiefling in a skimpy black policewoman outfit tumbles out of the door of the police box. It's Male Kal too, because of shenanigans. It's all timey wimey, wibbley wobbley. I wouldn't think too hard on it. He takes a while to gain his balance. Getting bounced off of anti-teleport fields does murder on the inner ear, and it's been a while since he rocked heels.
"So... er... what are we doing again?" Says Kal, in a Scottish accent. Which, little known fact, is actually his natural accent! He just hides it because it's not very diabolical. Because everyone knows Devils all sound like they're part of the Royal Shakespeare Company. True fact.

Well, Marciano has taken Butler's innocent if incredibly over zealous kindness as being sarcastic and insulting. He clenches his fists. Er... Fist. Son... Do you have any idea who you are mocking' 'ere? I am Ritz Mckane. You just insulted the wrong guy. Felandria, lovely, grab him. Take him to my office and keep him under constraint. I'll be in there in a minute. You, sir, are all washed up. Button your lip, no one is as kind as you. Or as stupid. Or as badly named. Not even here. He's relatively quiet, he doesn't want Locke and Dena to hear him.

Admittedly if someone told me that was their name, I'd be incredulous too.

Butler is confused. What buttons? Where's the bird? Why does he need a bath again already? If Butler is as kind as Butler is, then wouldn't that mean someone is exactly that kind no matter how kind that kind is? These feelings are mixed with a bit of shock. He even starts to protest that he'd never insult Marciano, but that's interrupted by being grabbed and lifted.
But the number one expression on his face?
That of being crushed. Utterly crushed. Yeah, he knows he's pretty dull at times. But... his name. He is oh so very proud of the name he picked out for himself. To have someone say it's bad is just... well it's crushing.

Anyways, he gets dragged into the office and told not to move. Which he does. Then someone asks him a question. On one hand, he shouldn't move. On the other hand, it'd be rude not to answer. But which is more rude?
In the end, his conditioning wins out. He was given an order and he'll stand by that order. It's hard to even see him breathe he's being that still.

The tall man looks down at Mr. Ritz.

"My name is out of business. I'm from the wall and these two are the people who seek for a job. The woman is called Vutha Isk and you can call the man piano guy."

The half-dragon woman bows gently as she is mentioned. The piano guy just nods.

From behind Kal, a devil in a red coat roller skates out of the police box, sonic allen wrench in hand. "That way!" she dramatically points. "They've got Rory, er, I mean Butler, in there!"



She skates through the npcs who are trying to gamble, pushing them aside while flashing Psychic Paper around to show off her credentials. Apparently, she's Jane Smith, Chairman of the Gaming Commission.

"Right!" Kal follows after Decker, still tripping a little over his heels. Dammit, he needs to wear these more to get used to them. Never know when walking in heels will come in handy.

The tall man points at the piano and piano guy heads for it. As he reveal his coat, people may see his four arms, each lloking like it's not his own. As he starts playing some Jazz. It really sounds good, even a bit better then a normal piano guy.

"Also there have been allegations of sexist hiring practices, rumours of harbouring giants, and the third stall in the men's room hasn't been flushed in at least a week."

And give me a second chance? Marciano is completely degrading himself. Huh. Well, his words are VERY believable, and due to the suggestion spell subtly interlaced in his words, even Butler might feel very sorry for the guy.

Mr. Ritz goes even farther and bursts into tears. Before reaching across the table to hold Butler's hands. Oh please, please, please reconsider... I need you.

Kirk gives the newcomer an appreciative look as she approaches them. Why, isn't she nice to look at. He's not going to object to her being their entertainment for the evening, though he half expected that Dena wouldn't appreciate it. Then again, it is Dena.

The drow chuckles at Dena's statement. Always the joker she is. "I don't think I've had personal entertainment before." Aside from personal entertainment. "But I imagine I can keep you busy for your first night on the job. Do you have any particular talents maybe?"

"You dragged me out of the workshop for this?"

Arthur is not in Happy Mode as he heads into the casino.

There he was, just working calmly on something (he'd figure out precisely what later) when his dear and beloved girlfriend and fellow scientist, Willow Warwick, decided to try and convince him to come to this place. Arthur's never been a gambling man. Granted, he did a fairly-long stint as a gun dealer, but never a gambler.

With a decidedly-grumpy expression and a small armory's worth of concealed weapons on hand in the pockets and cuffs (and other parts) of his usual attire (considering he rarely wears anything but suits these days, making his every-day wear perfect for this environment) just in case, he leads the way in, Willow most likely only a short distance behind him.

One look at the lobby, and Arthur's expression turns from 'grumpy' to one that's more like 'I don't want to live on this plane of existence anymore', without so much as another word.

Willow is indeed alongside Arthur. She's a nineteen year old who is very pretty, with blue eyes and chestnut brown hair and wearing a designer label cocktail dress. Of course, she's only humanly pretty. In the company of a daughter of Zeus and Mysterious Wall Woman, she probably barely outshines a meth addict.

"You get all weird and forget to shower when you stay in the lab too long. Besides, we might get lucky and strike it rich. Er." Willow says. "Any preference? Or shall we play craps?"

OK, so she had a point there. The only reason he was spending so much time in the workshop lately was because he'd sworn off weapon design and was trying to expand his horizons. And ever since his application to join the Skyside Partnership was rejected, he'd been diving headlong into trying and failing to make stuff that wasn't weaponized. If nothing else, it occupied his time. Unfortunately, it was highly unproductive since it never amounted to anything.

Needless to say, he was having a hard time. Huge mental blocks are difficult to overcome, and his was more...hardwired into him than most cases.

Who knows? Maybe a night of something different is exactly what I need. He forces a smile. "Alright. Sure, let's play craps."

No, I'm not ignoring you Zefir, Marciano was called away on slightly more important business. What with Time Lords and such. So, the poor piano man is left hanging! Well, until that nice lady on the desk moves over to speak with him. Erm, Mr. Ritz is busy at the moment, there seems to be some kind of problem here... Anyway, sir... do you sing?

Also, new customers! The four buff bouncers move over to Willow Warwick and her companion. The four will move over to search them and probably notice the many, many weapons. Uh... you need to put those on dah table by dah wall. Thanks. They won't take his weapons, but will watch him until he goes to put them away. The woman also speaks to them/ Erm, welcome to The Ritzzz Casino & Club!

"I was hired for whatever job I wanted to apply for as far as I understand, so I guess that tonight I'm being paid to do anything you want me to do, and I do mean anything, especially the kind of entertainment your friend is accustomed to if you're implying what I think you're implying."

Khyli coquettishly answers Dena, winking at the two drow with a confident smirk forming upon her face before replying to Kirk's question.

"Busy for my first night and for the following morning, I'd wager were I a gambling woman. I like to think of myself as a lady of many talents. I was trained as a ninja by my father so I'm proficient at swordplay and assassination if ever you need an irksome somebody removed from existence. I can mix a mean drink, cook a delicious meal, and I'm rather decent at playing games like anything involving cards, chess, checkers, mahjong, if that's your vice, and my personal favorite, Risk. I can perform magic tricks, sing any genre of music from opera to death metal, play the violin and fiddle, and dance however you'd like.
