So presumably there are some being written and somebody might plausibly have penned a few copies and slipped them over the borders.

(Also because I've been seeing it wrong a lot more than correct recently, Crima is the name of the nation, Cree is the name of a city and an ethnicity, and Crimar is an adjective that is usually used to refer to things that aren't people. )
Crimar books are valued partially because of the difficulty to obtain, which makes them a rarity in Celero, and because of the content of the books (educational materials aimed at youth from all walks of life, not just stuffy nobles.)

The second question is why they're treasured seeing as most are plain and devoid of artistry save for that which goes into writing neat characters, which takes more explanation. One possibility is that there are simply almost no books in Celero because the Order of Fire burnt them to prevent the spread of heretical thinking, the second being that you refer to the more expensive books produced in the older illuminated style.

Still, I am flattered that they're considered a wonder.
Just like the Crimar books, they are considered a wonder primarily on their style of writing and difficulty to obtain (in Celero at least.) The Great Library is pretty much the only place in Celero with an abundant number of scholars, so they try to get their hands on as much foreign literature as they can, and that would mean most of their Ashenite books would be the most commonly available in the world.

Oh, wait. Celero kinda has that whole "distrust of the Lord of Fire" thing going on.

Don't mind me, just posting something so I can link it in my original country post. Read it if you want, you're under no obligation to at all.

    Razdissi Clan Structure:
    Spoiler
    Show
Clans are a fundamental building block of Razdissi society. A clan is roughly equivalent in power to a small guild in Hrathan-Tuor, or a single tribe in Domhan Abhaile. A clan is composed of two to twenty distantly related families, who cannot intermarry. This is an edict of a past Mormaer, to promote diplomacy and good-feeling between the clans. Some clans are more specialised that others; the Unbroken Line Clan are nearly all rulers, courtiers and diplomats, whilst the Ancient Delving Clan is composed of almost all trades and vocations amongst the Razdissi. In times of war, the more military focused clans provide most of the troops, whilst the less warlike clans provide supplies and equipment for them. Only the Mormaer has the authority to create new clans; these are normally centred around one notable individual, who then takes a few minor families from the more established clans who are dissatisfied with their current leadership. The head of a clan is part of a council that meet when the Mormaer decides that they need extra advice (or just needs someone to shout at). Unfortunately, Razdissi Mormaers aren't known for their democratic tendencies.

A selection of the more notable clans:
The Unbroken Line Clan: the ruling clan of Razdis, courtiers and diplomats.
The Nine Spears Clan: fairly old and aristocratic clan, military specialised.
The Embattled Tower Clan: very new, military specialised, experts at Embattled Tower Style.
The Ancient Delving Clan: the largest clan, mostly non-combat trades with some explorers. Finbael was of the Ancient Delving Clan.
The Red Rock Clan: most heavily involved with Razdissi mineral animism, large amount of miners.

    I'm just wondering.

The University was founded in the first round. In the second round I began the construction of a great observatory for the use of the University astronomers.

I see. So at risk of spoiling your plans, is the University a minor thing you're going to throw a Great Project or two into? It seems a little interesting. I'd imagine you'd also have other Universities specializing in other things around the place.

Also, just a fun note. Your professors may want to visit Tekorva for the Battle of Wits (clearly they cannot participate however). What do you think? It could be a Curiosity study of Tekorva. Unless your people consider Tekorva barbarians or heathens (which is likely if I scratch my chin over it enough).

The University is a university. The King ordered its foundation, gathered together the lands greatest scholars and put them in one place and gave them a recently abandoned building to renovate. Their students naturally followed them, as did anyone else looking for teachers.
It's not so hard to found an institute of higher education. You're just need teachers, a place to teach and students.
But yes, it will get expanded upon through other actions and projects.

Why would they have any reason to? Does Tekorva need impartial judges or something? It's a long way to go just to observe an event in a nation of no importance to Ashenia to learn nothing of particular significance to their studies. They don't have an anthropology or theology department at the University as of yet.

Not unlikely, with the many actions of the previous two rounds (including secret) getting some resolution or advancement. They have been edited into the post now.

I originally wanted to name it the Kuro Imperium, then decided to change the name to something better, forgot the exact spelling of the name, and just went with an interpretation. It has nothing to do with any of the Scarlattis, though.

Indeed. Actions you make with regards to the game have to be resolved before a round ends, but after that you can still keep going with an RP thread as long as you like. (Heck, the Grand Ball thread could've still been going if anyone had wanted to keep it up.)

Haha, it's what the Khan does best. What about the ships? Obviously I lost them (and my crew! Those Imperium folks are probably slavers!) but did they bestow upon me the knowledge of ocean faring ship building when they were in my ports being built?

Good thing this Central Sea Conference is going on!

I was just thinking... The Dawn League has specific language stating that some of our nations are representatives to other alliances (for example, I am the envoy to the Union of the North). Would this allow us to negotiate trade by proxy? e.g. I'm headed to the Central Sea Conference, could I negotiate trade between, say, Crima and Qarimos (a fellow Dawn League member) while I'm there?

Excellent. That stuff is pretty useful from a medical standpoint. Except, I'm going to have difficulties with addiction and drug trafficking, aren't I? No matter. I was considering introducing it as a resource anyway. I should put some sages and scholars onto studying its effects.
Fun fact: Opium poppies are commonly grown as an ornamental plant, even in those countries where you'd be right to think it's illegal.

No worries. I miss things all the time.
