Fallout Equestria: Donuts And Darkness

Inside the hutch, it was sort of like someone decided that a shed was the perfect place to store a bunch of extra canned food. It was sort of disgusting when it was put like that, but seeing cans of tomato soup next to a leaf blower on the same shelf was sort of pure wasteland-chic. The door that presumably led underground was put up at a angle at the end of the hutch, looking like it was shut tight.

Viridia rapped lightly on the door at the end of the hutch. "Hellooo? It's Viridia!"

Shade seemed amused, like Doc had noticed something inconsequential and she didn't!
"Just a little blessing from Nightmare Moon, child." she said, smiling at Doc brightly.

"Ah, that is pretty neat," Doc said. It was slightly creepier than neat though, because a lack of pupils made her eyes a bit harder track the direction they were pointing. "Okay, so I find the green factory, get the food inside, and bring it back here. If I need to hit the other town, I guess... I just come back for the info? I don't believe I have any more questions other than that. Err, I am curious where my doctor's bag wandered off to?"

Viridia rapped lightly on the door at the end of the hutch. "Hellooo? It's Viridia!"

Viridia heard a distinclty electrical popping, and the sound of a speaker kicking in!

"Uh, Viridia? Everything alright outside?" said River Moss, who was apparently taking it safe and making sure that she wasn't, say, being used by pirates to gain access to her personal arms, which were many and could probably be used to take over large parts of any given city. The caution tinging her voice was underlying the slightest bit of joy in her voice, however.

"Ah, that is pretty neat," Doc said. It was slightly creepier than neat though, because a lack of pupils made her eyes a bit harder track the direction they were pointing. I have two griffons on my payroll, and they will be able to contact me at any time. You would not even have to bring the food back here personally, if you do not want to. Doc bent down to look under the bed. This was uncomfortable and slightly painful, so he opted to instead let himself slowly roll off the bed to a sitting position on the floor where he could see his bag. Ah! He wagged his tail slightly, almost like a content puppy would, as he smiled at the two mares. "Very good then! Viridia knows how to handle Griffons. Like big winged kittens... that shoot your face off. Okay, then I will speak with the others and see who I can convince to come with on this expedition. Keeping you both anonymous for now of course, because... secrets."

Good. I don't need to worry about you then. Can one of your parents head to the inn and tell everypony that you are all alright? Moonshadow said.

"Yep! Well, not life-threatening at least. I'm gonna have to leave town for a while, but I did totally blow up a buttload of pirates with this zebra cannon thing, and the rest are scattered, dead, or subdued." Viridia answered.

"Sweet!" said one of River's brothers, apparently in awe of Viridia's actions.

Viridia heard the sound of a hoof hitting a colt's head lightly, along with that colt saying "Ow!"

"Fighting is not fun!" Viridia heard River say, rather harshly.

There was a pause, and emberassed cough, and the sound of the metal door in front of her opening! River stepped out from behind it, wearing a bandanna and wearing a battle-saddle two shotguns attached! And then her too brothers moved out from behind her! The oldest has a solid looking pistol with him while the younger one had this plastic toy-looking thing that was almost certiantly some sort of energy weapon in his mouth.

There was a silence!

"Uh, so..." River Moss replied, rubbing the back of her head and looking rather lost for words! And she was blushing.

Doc bent down to look under the bed. This was uncomfortable and slightly painful, so he opted to instead let himself slowly roll off the bed to a sitting position on the floor where he could see his bag. Ah! Wrong bed! The carpet was so nice, though. Doc saw a small black case under Andante Shine's bed, though! In the dark, it sort of looked like one of those Ministry of Peace health-kits, but it was black and the symbol on it was not identifiable.

Andante looked at Doc like she was considering if she was actually wasting her time! Shade was now snickering in a unprofessional manner, her red eyes almost looking like they were glowing, but that was probably a optical illusion.

"Actually, I would rather talk to you all at once, given the vial issues at stake." Andante replied, briefly looking at Shade for a few seconds; the priestess shook her head, as Andante took that as a reply. "Given the circumstances, I would regroup at Glorious Dawn's place, to discuss plans. Nightcore is the secondmost powerful pony here, in terms of wealth, and she would appreciate to be in the know. In addition, her wife just bought five bags of flour from me today, so I could only assume she is already preparing a meal fit for four extra ponies that helped her survive a dangerous situation. "You two, back inside." she said, with a forced edge; the two colts groaned, but headed back inside the bunker! The eldest closed it behind him.

Then River leaned in for a kiss!

Doc stood back up, keeping a wide stance for balancing. "Sorry about that. *ahem* Um, yes, my friends and I are having dinner at Glorious Dawn's place tonight. Invited. I will bring everyone there and we can discuss business at that time... except for the Servant of the Sun. Tirkes and Viridia are like mixing bleach and ammonia. "Oh, that's not my concern." Andante said, sounding somewhere between teasing and consolatory, "But I do intend on finishing this when you are in a right mind. Would you liked to be helped out?"

Moonshadow shrugged. I guess I don't really have a destination in mind after this. So sure. she said, taking the plunge.

Once Moonshadow moved a little further down the hall, she found that the darkness vanished and she was in a very large room!

The chamber was large and ornate, and with a very high roof! The air smelled slightly smoky, as if something wet was burnt in here recently, and it was full of the ambient dust of ages. The floors and walls were of hardwood, shiny and black, while a fantastical mosaic was on the domed roof of the room, at least a hundred feet off the ground and depicting several ponies staring at the moon lovingly, which was depicted in the center of the roof. The ponies were all painted in muted shades and colors, and the general effect was probably to make it seem like the moonlight was bathing all the ponies at once.

The actual room itself was well lit with the assistance of at least twenty candles along the walls, all burning pale blue flames that still provided enough light to see everything for Moonshadow. Three long rows of shiny black, wooden pews filled up most of the floor space, while black-green tapestries hung from the arches along the walls. At least four doors were on each side of this chamber, which could probably seat a hundred ponies. Moonshadow could also see railing above, probably indicating the existence of other floors.

The main feature of the chamber, though, was the alter at the far end of the room.

The podium on the alter was a solid block of wood, with gold and green designs engraved into it, and had a set of low steps to assist ponies scaling it. Six black, fat candles stood in gold candle-holders, and the high part of it depicted a green sun and a purple moon in the sky at the same time, with the landscape below painted in cool colors, darker greens, deep blues, and rich browns. It was undeniably beautiful, even if the subject was odd, and the entire picture was framed with gold and silver. The whole spectacle was big enough that it would have taken Moonshadow a good minute to fly up and touch the top of it, if she was standing in front of it.

A small filly was standing in front of Moonshadow! She was in that terrible stage between foalhood and fillyhood, with her head looking oversized for her little body. Her hair was pink and her coat was yellow, and she stared at Moonshadow with big eyes!

"Are you a pegasus?" she asked, sounding utterly enthralled by Moonshadow.

"Oh, that's not my concern." Andante said, sounding somewhere between teasing and consolatory, "But I do intend on finishing this when you are in a right mind. Would you liked to be helped out?"

"Please and thank you," Doc replied in a soft, appreciative tone. He allowed himself to be led toward his things and wherever the exit was. "Just point me in the direction of Seaweed's place. I should be able to handle walking myself there."

Doc got his stuff out from under the bed he was resting on, and she led the stallion through the kitchens and out of the bar; plenty of wounded ponies and griffons, but many more who were alive. A few were laid out on the floor farthest away from the windows, and were being tended to by a very familiar pony.

Andante shut the door to the kitchen's behind her, but Doc had the tiniest inkling he'd be in those back rooms again, while sober.

The addiction rate for Med-X is 10% and the addiction rate for Hydra is 20%. However, due to almost sacrificing his life, his Apoptosis's Gift pool is set to 50 points.]

"Yeah, that was me," Doc said as he fished out a napkin from a pocket. Always carried a few to wipe up blood or his brow. "How is the leg doin?" He handed her the napkin.
