Oozes are now at the top of Amiyah's 'most annoying enemies' list. Even mutant zombie pirates are better than this, they don't immediately immobilize two fighters! And she suspects that if it weren't for Tchinik's song, everyone else would be suffering under an enchantment of some sort.

Time for another magic missile. The wizard reaches into her belt pouch and touches her pearl of power. With a small effort of will, one of her expended magic missile spells reappears in her mental spellbook. Once more Amiyah touches her crystal pendant, speaks the magic words, and points at the ooze. Another three glowing white missiles streak toward the blob.

The battle rages on in the ancient well chamber! Dragonfire continues to blast forth from the enveloped dragonborn, blasting the thing for 6 fire damage as Lora continues to struggle. Similarly Connaught wrestles with the amorphous flesh, barely able to keep from being consumed. Tchinik stabs in but can't get a clear hit as his friends flail about.

Amiyah summons her magic again and more energy missiles shoot out at the thing, blasting it for 12 damage.

The gibbering mass of mouths and eyes continues to struggle with Lora and Connaught, shifting it's attention briefly to quickly overcome Lora and completely envelop her in it's mass, myriad mouths biting at her for 1 Con damage. It belches another jet of caustic bodily fluid, this time splashing Amiyah for 3 acid damage.

Urol stands further back, trying to shake the much taller Zathras out of the confused stupor inflicted upon him by the maddening thing.

Lora was stuck but her flames and the attacks from her allies pounded away at the creature. She was sure it was matter of brief time left for the creature. That led her to miss the creature's change of focus from Connaught to her and she suddenly found herself enveloped. Her faith in Bahamut and her allies kept her going but the thing was starting to slowly suck the life out of her. None could see but the thought of burning it from the inside out now made her grin as she unleashed more draconic fire.

Little bursts of flame continue to issue forth from the beast as Lora struggles within the mass, the flames burning it for 6 fire damage. Seeing an opportunity Tchinik steps forward his mighty spear flicking left and right as he stabs and slashes for 11 damage. Fatally damaged beyond recovery the thing issues a cacophony of final maddening howls from its mouths before collapsing into a messy mass of fleshy goo and a multitude of dead unblinking eyes.

Urol scurries forward excitedly to the slain creature at the well, poking at the eyes and popping a few into one of his many specimen jars.
